    • code implications
    • things like: returning numpy array with one value.. instead of just a float updates should be made like extracting this single value from this numpy.array.
  5. v1 to v2 readthedocs configuration

    • Migrate from readthedocs configuration file v1 to v2 for docs building
    • readthedocs requires using configuration v2. All the pysal subpackages should update their readthedocs.yml as we are currently using configuration v1 which is not supported any more.
    • Examples from giddy and spaghetti
    • Ask Joris about what geopandas does?
  6. logo / shirts / stickers updates

  7. Infrastructure specialists

    • We spend way too much time rediscovering what others have learned
    • Should we appoint a lead specialists for infrastructure? For example, on things like:
      • travis
      • readthedocs
      • sphinx
      • pypi
      • conda
      • other?
    • In other words, one person is the go-to for guidance on each area.
    • Currently we have informal structure. Current members are already the defacto expert. We need to decide whether to formalize these roles.
    • Vote on formal decision next month
  8. NumFocus

    • Any update on the PySAL application to be a NumFocus affilated project?
      • Still waiting to hear from NumFocus. they said it should be "real soon now".
      • We're in as a NumFocus Affiliated project!
  9. July Subpackage Releases

    • To all maintainers:
      • Please do a release of your subpackages before July 1 so Serge can get the meta updated.
      • James will put a reminder in gitter
        • TravisCI (must)
          • drop 3.5, include 3.7
        • ReadTheDocs (optional)
          • v1 > v2
      • new additions?
        • region
          • Circle back with Serge regarding region
          • maxp is broken
          • release of region without maxp?
          • Wei and Eli will raise the issue with Serge
        • segregation
          • Renan will make new release in June (decomposition, code reorganization, perhaps multigroup segregation indexes)
