*Tl;dr*
The SES team prepared a new release of the Ecosystem API and Dashboard, as well as the Core Unit Budget Tool.
**Last month** we released [the fourth iteration of the dashboard](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/expenses-dashboard-monthly-update-november-2022/19011), featuring:
* Introducing Dashboard User Accounts;
* Developer Experience Improvements;
* Continued support for Core Unit onboarding and reporting.
**This month**, we ... We are pleased to announce the fifth release with the following improvements:
* Introducing Auditor Functionality that will offer better insights into Core Units’ expense reporting state, including status, changes, and other relevant information;
* Improved Developer Experience including more thourough documentation & getting started guides;
* preparations for dashboard support of the Endgame plan, including Project Based Budgeting and MetaDAOs.

## Dashboard Version 0.5 Release
Version 0.5 of the dashboard is now available at https://expenses.makerdao.network/.
**Improved Auditor Functionality**
*Get better insights into Core Units’ expense reporting state, including status, changes, and other relevant information;*
These improvements enable Core Unit Administrators (and where applicable, their Auditors) to:
* Understand the state of the given report including its legacy reporting, status, and comments.
* Finalize the expense report by reviewing the past changes (submitted comments) and changing the status accordingly.
Furthermore, the improvement lets all MakerDAO stakeholders to:
* Understand if the Core Unit is thoroughly evaluated (Auditor info)
* Be informed of any legacy expensing repository of the Core Unit (legacy reporting)
* Keep up with the important updates and activity (CU Activity Feed & global Activity Feed)
* Have full context of what changes happened over time (comments tab).

**Improved Developer Experience**
*For developers and data analysts to conveniently use the API and the code base.*
This new feature helps more technical usders to understand the code and API data, so that they can contribute to it, or create their projects to fulfill specific needs. As said before, the insights that the dashboard frontend offers don’t have to be limit. Our API and code base are intended as open tools for the creation of other insights and UIs.
With the next version of the Developer Experience feature, we are introducing:
* More advanced code repositories (including up-to-date documentation and release information);
* Getting Started guides for each repo.
