## 課程簡介

本課程以培養通訊網路程式設計人才為目標。核心網路在通訊網路中扮演著不可或缺的角色，開發網路元件需要具備豐富的領域知識（軟體定義網路、容器、網路程式設計）。本課程涵蓋前面提到的多種技術，以深入淺出的方式帶著學生體驗核心網路的開發與應用。
本課程將以 [free5GC](https://free5gc.org/) 開源軟體為核心，[free5GC](https://free5gc.org/) 為陳志成教授領導開發的核心網路開源軟體，於 2024 年 9 月 16 日加入全球開源軟體領導組織 — Linux 基金會，並輔以其他開源工具，如 Kubernetes、Docker、UERAMSIM、ONF Aether、Nephio、LoxiLB 等。

## 課程目標

- 讓學員有能力貢獻到開源的 5G 專案，不管是 5G CORE、5G RAN、5G Infra、5G Tools
- 有能力成為 [free5GC 專案](https://github.com/free5gc) 的 Commiter

## 作業與專案

本課程會有 4 個專案需要大家完成：
- Project 1 (15%) ：free5GC CTF *2025-09-22 公布、2025-10-5(日) 23:59 繳交截止。*
- Project 2 (20%) ：Simple NF *2025-10-13 公布、2025-10-26(日) 23:59 繳交截止。*
- Project 3 (20%)：Customize your own Task Scheduler *2025-11-3 公布、2025-11-16(日) 23:59 繳交截止。*
- Final Project (35%) *2025-10-20 公布、2025-11-16(日) 23:59 proposal 繳交截止、2025-12-7(日) 23:59 繳交截止。*
- 課程參與（10%）：根據每堂課課後練習的答題狀況進行評比。

### 注意事項
- 作業基本上會需要使用 Golang 進行開發，我們會在第八周開始探討核心網路的開發議題，為了避免時程安排與作業衝突，請從現在開始自學 Golang。
- 課堂不點名，課堂中或課堂後可能會提供練習題目，答題情況會用於**課程參與**項目的評分。
- 提出 good first issue 會酌情加分。
- **嚴禁抄襲行為**，如發現相關行為學期成績一定不及格。
