## Introduction :safety_pin:

I found almost no open-source k2s acceleration tools online. Free users on sites like Leachall either don't support k2s acceleration or require tedious verification processes, so I created this k2s downloader.

Free k2s users are limited to a download rate of 50kb/s and only one file per hour, which is quite stingy. This accelerator can speed up the process several times over and has no download volume limits.

I honestly don't know if many people in Taiwan use k2s; I haven't seen much discussion about it on local forums compared to Mega or Katfile.

## Product Features :muscle:

- **Customizable Performance:** Provides fields for download source and custom filenames. Supports 1–128 threads and 1–1024 MB split sizes for flexible performance control.
- **Integrity Check:** Built-in ffmpeg integrity check option to automatically verify output media files in applicable scenarios, reducing the risk of file corruption (requires manually adding ffmpeg to environment variables).
- **Proxy Management:** Loads a proxy list in the background upon startup. You can set verification limits, re-verify cache, and view real-time statistics of available vs. active proxies.
- **Progress Tracking:** Download cards integrate segment/size progress, speed, and ETA. Syncs detailed logs and supports cancellation at any time.

## User Workflow :wrench:

1. Launch the application and wait for the proxy list to load automatically; the log will display the processing status.
2. Paste the Keep2Share download link into the URL field and enter a custom filename if desired.
3. Adjust thread count, split size, and ffmpeg check settings. Modify proxy verification limits or check "Re-verify" if necessary.
4. Click "Start Download" and monitor the progress bar and logs. To view proxy details, expand "Developer Tools."
5. If a CAPTCHA window appears, enter the code and submit; the download will resume immediately.
6. Once completed, follow the prompt to confirm the output file location. You can press "Cancel" at any time to stop the process.

> Note: The first time you open the app, you will need to "Refresh proxies," which may take a while.

## Personal Tips & Experience :book:

- `Refresh proxies` takes a long time. Selecting `ALL` can take about half an hour.
- I've tried many ways to speed up the proxy refresh, but nothing worked, so I've given up on that part.
- The number of available proxies from a refresh depends heavily on your location. In two different tests using `ALL`, I got `16` and `300` available proxies respectively.
- Through testing various `split sizes`, 20MB is the most stable. It isn't too slow and prevents file corruption; sizes smaller than 20MB may result in corrupted files.
- If a downloaded archive is corrupted, try repairing it with a tool like WinRAR.
- If the download gets stuck at the very end (as shown in Image 1), you can click Cancel and then click Start Download again (it will resume from where it left off).

As shown, a Slow Download on the k2s website would take approximately 24 hours (Image 1), but using this software, it only took about 4 hours to complete (Image 2).
