5. Distinguished lectures: shorten?
6. Faculty honors: easy, pull from SOD
7. New Faculty: Oh, Corteel, Wood, Lecturers?. (email them; send a link to 2017; ask for a hi res picture)
8. New Postdocs: figure out when they got PHD
9. Graduating PHDs (dissertation titles). Ask for picture. Maybe put the vertical one on the side.
10. Incoming grad student picture.
11. Grad student honors. Include OGSI awards. Already have info from Vicky.
12. Undergrad honors. Per already has info, from Vicky.
13. Commencement Address: Sarnak. Commencement photos?
14. In Memoriam: ask for text? Berlekamp and Tate.
15. Random pictures from the department. Need a few of these.
16. Bubbles for UG student stats (enrollments, etc.)
18. Julia Robinson festival. Pics? Small article? Sam page as chair letter?
19. Highlight students supported by fellowships. Hegde and Yi Lai. Maybe get them to write shorter paragraphs?
20. Berkeley connect? Make a small bubble.

Shorten Staff news and In Memoriam.

Per: write to Melanie, write to grad students with fellowships. Get random pics from dept (ask MUSA?).

Nikhil: Get Lin's picture for DS article, ask George for photo for letter for chair + all three chairs + in memoriam + grad chair + new faculty + headshots of featured grad students. Ask for new faculty profiles. Ask Ken for info about Tate. Berkeley connect box.

Need to do Julia Robinson still.

p5: ok, check programs**, perhaps shrink BC
p6: ok, ligtroom grad picture. change sarnak picture.
p7: shorten areas to 2 each for postdocs.
p8: edit credits on the last page.
