    # Slime requirements, core effects and misc. xenofauna ## Tier One ### Grey Slimes * Prefered food: Monkeys * Required environment: None * Core reactions: * * Blood - Creates 3 biomass cubes for 5u of blood * * Plasma - Spawns a baby grey slime * Coremeister effect: Coremeister cooldowns are x1.5 times faster, but you lost 1 nutrition per second for every active cooldown(including core swap cooldown) ### Monkeys * Available in the Biomass Recycler roundstart, cost 1 cube. ## Tier Two ### Orange Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: High(Over 60°) temperatures. If air is too cold they will start rapidly losing nutrition and eventually take damage. * Core reactions: * * Blood - Creates a cloud of pepper smoke. 2u of capsaicin and 3u of smoke mix for every 3u of blood injected. * * Plasma - Only works when held by(or in the inventory of) a human. Covers the user in a layer of protective orange goo for 1 minute, which shields them from fire and heat. ### Greebleflies * A swarming fly with glowing butt. Their wings can be fried in order to make them into a tasty protein-rich snack. * Prefered food: None. * Required environment: None. * These can be mass-printed using a biomass recycler/vacuum pack after buying a pretty cheap upgrade for them. ### Purple Slimes * Prefered food: Broombush leaves * Required environment: N2O in the air. If there's no N2O they will start taking damage and will become rabid. * Core reactions: * * Blood - Fills the extract with regenerative jelly. 5u per 1u blood injected, up to 100u. * * Plasma - Creates a bottle of slime steroid. ### Broombush * Comfortable temperature: 0 C° to 60 C° * Consumes 1 moles of nitrogen per second * Does not require or produce any chemicals * Harvest yields from 2 to 5 leaves. ### Blue Slimes * Prefered food: Cubomelons or cubomelon slices * Required environment: Low temperatures(-40° to -10°). * Special behaviour: After finishing digesting cubomelons will create a puff of water vapour. Immune to damage from water. * Core reactions: * * Blood - Creates a slime stabilizer potion. * * Plasma - Fills the extract with frost oil. 10u per 1u plasma injected, up to 100u. * * Water - Creates a frost core grenade which will explode into icicles upon detonation. Icicles deal very small damage, but will cool down anything they hit. ### Cubomelon * Comfortable temperature: -40 C° to 0 C° * Does not require or produce any gases. * Consumes 2 moles of bromine, creates 0.5 moles of hercuri every second. * Harvest yields exactly one cubomelon which can be cut into five slices. The plant is removed from the xenoflora pod after being harvested and requires replanting. However, cubomelons grow three times as fast as other plants. ### Metal Slimes * Prefered food: Rockroaches, rockroach shells * Required environment: CO2 in the air. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates 5 sheets of plasteel and 15 sheets of metal. * * Water - Creates 5 sheets of reinforced glass and 15 sheets glass. ### Rockroaches * Cockroaches with a rock shell on their back that gives them more health. * Prefered food: None. * Required environment: None. * These can be mass-printed using a biomass recycler/vacuum pack after buying a pretty cheap upgrade for them. ## Tier Three ### Yellow Slimes * Prefered food: Wobble Chicken, their chicks, meat and eggs * Required environment: When power level is higher than 4, yellow slimes will shoot out arcs of lightning. To prevent that you'll need to install dischargers into their pen. However, dischargers will also make some other species of slimes lose nutrition much faster. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates a 10,000 capacity EMP-proof power cell. Does not make machines and cyborgs EMP-proof. * * Blood - Creates an EMP. * * Water - Electrocutes every creature in 4 tile radius for 25 damage. * Coremeister effect: User sees purpose of every wire and is shock proof, but can't move away from wires(When forcefully moved away from wires 3.33 damage per second is dealt) and all wire colors and order are randomised for them. ### Wobble Chicken * Dark brown chicken with white wings. Extremely scared of slimes and will try to run away upon seeing one. * Prefered food: Broombush leaves * Required environment: Medium-high temperature(40°) or else their eggs won't hatch. * Their eggs can be bought in xenobiology vendors for a pretty big price. They can also be printed using biomatter recycler after it's been upgraded with a corresponding disc(Vacuum packs will shoot chicks instead of eggs). ### Silver Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Slime pen must have a stabilizer installed or instead silver slimes will implode, leaving a bunch of small hostile blorbies behind. They also are constantly hungry and will eat regardless of their nutrition. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Extract can be applied to yourself in order to create a small "Eye Blorbie" which can ventcrawl. Player controls this blorbie and can abandon them at will(this kills the blorbie). Blorbie is fragile and has very little damage. * * Blood - Creates a silver slime autoinjector which speeds you up in cost of heavy nutrition drain(and damage if you're out of nutrition). It also prevents nutrition gain during the effect and for 1 minute after. * * Water - Spawns 2-6 random foods, without gatfruits and powercrepes this time. They only have 50% of their normal consumable reagents(aka nutrition) and have a 35% chance to contain 5-15u of slime jelly ### Dark Purple Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Slime pen should be filled with plasma with no oxygen left. Player should use holofan mounts to prevent fires or borrow a holofan generator from atmos. If these requirements are not satisfied, slimes will puff out small clouds of plasma and ignite it. (Not so hard to do with new pens) * * Plasma - Spawns 5 sheets of plasma * * Water - Starts rapidly draining plasma from the air and after 15 seconds of drainage spawns 1 sheet of plasma per 200 moles drained. (Igniting one sheet spawns 100 moles) * Coremeister effect: User breaths plasma instead of oxygen. ### Dark Blue Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Slime pen should be cold(-60° to -40°) and have at least 5 moles of water vapor per tile (Blue slimes puff out 10 moles after digesting food). If these requirements are not satisfied, slimes will slowly lose their cores and die. Immune to damage from water. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Extract can be applied on yourself or another person in crit and induces stasis and protects from pressure and oxyloss. * * Blood - Creates a slimy autoinjector that contains 15 moles of frost oil and 15 moles of tri-clouri polymers which act like old cryoxadone and don't require user being asleep to work. Overdosing on them(16u) will deal 3 tox damage per tick. ## Tier Four ### Red Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Red slimes lose nutrition faster and become rabid when hungry, turning all other red slimes around them rabid as well. They are also immune to BZ stasis and are only pacified but not stasis-ed. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Covers the user in red goo, granting them equipment, damage slowdown immunity and wound and dismembering resistance for 3 minutes. * * Blood - Makes all slimes in 10 tile range view rabid. If they're docile, undoes docility but doesn't make them rabid. * * Water - Creates a destabilizer potion which increases slime mutation chance by 15%. ### Green Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Green slimes can morph into other objects and sentient mobs and deal increased damage from ambush attacks. To prevent from taking damage and mimicking player will have to install a demorpher accessory on them which cannot be removed after its installation. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates slime mutation toxin which turns you into a slimeperson(the one that splits). Slimepeople no longer can split infinitely and each new body will require more and more blood to create. * * Blood - Creates human mutation toxin. * * Radium - Creates lizard mutation toxin. * All mutation toxins will transform you limb-by-limb instead of current instant transformations. ### Golden Slimes * Prefered food: Other slimes. * Required environment: Golden slimes will attack other slimes(even other golden slimes when they're hungry) and when attacking will force other slimes and creatures around them attack the target as well. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Core splits into two secondary extracts which can be attached to another extract. Their chemicals are linked, so you can attach one extract to, for example, oil extract, inject plasma into the second one and the oil extract will explode. * * Blood - Extract can be applied on somebody else to peer through their eyes for a minute. The effect can be toggled on/off, but with each toggle there's a rising chance of them noticing and getting informed about it. ### Pink Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Pink slimes will require either a giant slime plushie to play with or a few smaller plushies in their pen. If their requirement is not satisfied they will inflict everybody watching them with slime-related hallucinations. Friendship necklaces can also be used to satisfy them. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates a bottle of docility potion which makes the slime that its applied to docile, or if its rabid then it undoes rabidity. * * Blood - The extract can be applied to heavily increase targets' mood for next 15 minutes. ## Tier Five ### Bluespace Limons * Comfortable temperature: 0 C° to 40 C° * Consumes 1 mole of CO2 every second. * Consumes 2 moles of acetone and 1 mole of oxygen, creates 1 mole of acetone oxide every second. * These contain bluespace limon juice which works like directional bluespace powder, randomly teleporting consumer in the direction they're facing. Also prioritises space tiles, so be careful. ### Bluespace Slimes * Prefered food: Bluespace Limons * Required environment: Bluespace slime are able to teleport through solid objects unless there's a bluespace anchor installed in their pen. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates 3 bluespace crystals * * Blood - Primes the core. Upon in-hand use or throw impact, the core will create a one-sided wormhole portal to the initial activation location that lasts for 10 seconds. * * Water - Creates a bluespace radio potion which gives simplemobs radio implants. ### Pyrite Peaches * Comfortable temperature: 70 C° to 150 C° * Consumes 3 moles of O2 each second. * Consumes 1 mole of napalm every second. * Peaches contain 5 moles of CLF3 and can be canned using iron(via crafting panel). ### Pyrite Slimes * Prefered food: Pyrite Peaches * Required environment: These require either temperatures above 480° Celsius or active hotspots to survive. If both requirements aren't satisfied for more than 20 seconds, pyrite slimes will start taking damage. Their attacks ignite targets and when they die, if the temperature is too low, they will freeze and become unrevivable. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - You can target somebody using an extract(even through cameras) and start morphing into them. It works like an abductor disguise(examine sees through it) and can be broken by getting punched/hit by a projectile. After the disguise is broken, it takes 10 seconds for it to reactivate. Lasts for 5 minutes. * * Blood - Spawns 5 hot hot floor tiles. Hot hot floor tiles burn whoever walks on them(their shoes included) and grille/burn all items on them. * * Water - Spawns a hot hot spraycan that sprays fire. Drawings made using it will come to life similarly to how wizard animation staff does it. Each use increases stack counter on all spraycans on your person and if it reaches 3 they "overheat", going on a minute long cooldown. One stack is removed every 20 seconds(reset upon being used). Big paintings count as 2 stacks. ### Cerulean Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Cerulean slimes require exposure to vacuum or low pressures. When pressure is lower than 3 kPa they also become immune to low temperatures and gain spacewalking. They can lunge at their targets and use their telekinesis to throw around items when unhappy. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates an extract enchancer potion which adds 2 uses to any extract its applied to. * * Blood - Core can be thrown and will stick to the first wall it hits, creating a slime booby trap which will throw itself at the first person who enters its range(1-2 tiles), except the thrower. Trap gains 1.5 seconds of removal and 0.5 seconds of knockdown per each use remaining, at 5 uses it will also expand the range to 2 tiles. Trap takes 2 seconds to activate. ### Sepia Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Sepia slimes require BZ to survive(will be harvestable from a xenoplant) and will occasionally timestop themselves and take damage if it's not present in the air. They also can create small and short(3 seconds) timestop fields around their targets with a 15% chance and 17 seconds cooldown. They are immune to BZ's stasis effect. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates a 3x3 timestop field after 5 seconds. Emits sound and makes extract flicker upon activation. * * Blood - Extract can be applied to activate dejavu effect after a 3 second use delay similarly to Rewinder module of TED modsuits, 10 seconds delay and repeated for each use of core left(core is fully spent no matter the amount of uses left). If the target already has a slime rewind active then it'll just gain additional rewinds equal to the amount of uses the core has. * Coremeister effect: User is able to place a dejavu recall point which lasts for up to a minute. Pressing the ability button again will recall the user and stun the for the amount of time passed since they left the recall point. They also leave faint particles which indicate where the recall point is located ## Tier Six ### Adamantine Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Adamantine slimes require training equipment(punching bags, lifting machines) in their pens and will use them every minute or so. If they haven't excercised for long, they will start taking damage and losing nutrition. They also can use 3 special attacks: slam(knocks the target back), suplex(moves and stuns the target) and ground strike(creates a shockwave which lifts everybody around the target up into the air) * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Spawns an adamantine sheet. You can no longer use these to make golems. * * Blood - Covers the user in a thick layer of heavy adamantine slime, massively slowing them down and giving them 25% damage resistances. ### Oil Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Oil slimes require high pressure(above 608 kPa or exactly 6 atmospheres) or else they will take damage and have empowered attacks with AOE knockback. They also have a chance to explode on death if a vacuole stabilizer is not present around them. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Extract explodes after 5 seconds, now with the extract starting to pulse, indicating the incoming explosion, and a sound effect. * * Blood - Extract inflates and covers user's feet, making them spread pools of flammable oil everywhere they walk. * Coremeister effect: User is constantly on 3+ firestacks, adds firestacks to people with punches and leaves an oil trail behind(fire spreads faster than normal human movement) ### Black Slimes * Prefered food: * Required environment: Black slimes require planetary or planetary immitation turfs(basalt, dirt, grass, snow, fake basalt and etc) to survive. If this requirement is not satisfied, aside from taking damage they will also slowly convert turfs around them into slime-like variants that they can pass through. These slime turfs can be licked/eaten and destroyed using weapons. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creats an autoinjector filled with mutanite solution which will rapidly treat organ damage(even in dead), but has a chance to mutate one of the organs into a slimefolk one. * * Blood - Extract can be applied to yourself or someone else. If targeting a missing limb, extract reforms into a new slime limb that attaches itself to the target. Else, heals the limb and it's wounds. * Coremeister effect: User can't die or be critter, but takes double damage and can be easily wounded and dismembered. ### Light Pink Slimes * Prefered food: Humans(0.8), lizards(1), moths(1.2) and ethereals(1.4). Numbers in brackets are nutrition modifiers. * Required environment: Light pink slimes are able to mind control people they latch onto and use them to hunt down and crit their targets to feed on them afterwards. They require a host to survive. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates a sentience potion. * * Blood - Sakura petals start falling in the whole room(area), giving everybody pacifism for 3 minutes. Pacifism is lost/regained when you exit/enter the room. ## Specials ### Rainbow Slimes * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Extract can be applied to yourself or someone else and will grant incredible protection for 15 seconds upon doing so. They also get pacifism for the duration of the effect. * * Blood - Extract can be applied to yourself or someone else and will grant incredible speed for 45 seconds upon doing so. User will leave a trail of rainbow tiles that will act as a conveyor, transporting anybody who steps on them to the users location. This trail lingers for a full minute before disappearing. ### Fiery Slimes * Fiery slimes ignite targets with their attacks, can passively ignite you if you're close to them and have an ability to throw mini-fireballs. They are weak to extinguishers and will take extra damage. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Creates a consiousness transferrence potion. * * Blood - Creates a large fire cascade similarly to ash heretic ascension, but one-time. ### Biohazard Slimes * Biohazard slimes are faster, have slightly faster attacks and lifesteal and will inject their victims with 2u tuporixin after each attack. At 5u, toxin will start duplicating itself at rate of 5% per tick(max of 5) up to 50u (Hint: use blood filtering and multiver to save yourself). At 25u infection becomes visible via green veins on the victim's body. It's not a very strong toxin, but upon death it's victims will burst into 2-4 biohazard slimes, the body's owner controlling one of them. You can only get them via traitor final objective. * Core reactions: * * Plasma - Core gets filled with advanced slime mutation toxin(turns victims into grey slimes, formerly belonged to black cores), 3u per 1u plasma injected.
