- FAT has been an acronym I have heard around ML ethics (and generally on IT ethics), is it Fair, are we being Accountable, are we being Transparent? Have others heard this or any other acronyms?
- Re: FAT – One of the conferences is ACM FAccT (formerly FAT) that looks at AI/ML ethics but it is a very broad umbrella in terms of what is being published. I believe historically there is not so much done on education and teaching pedagogy https://facctconference.org/2023/
- Do you look into the procurement of the hardware required?
- Is there such a things as truly anonymous data, esp when you start combining data sets?Did your students in China feel free to speak on privacy and censorship given the track record of the Chinese state?

- None in my own module, but there is a dedicated Ethics module within the MSc course, however this is not compulsory. This could be a useful resource for me to improve my OWN knowledge, and then try and illustrate some of the isssues in the context of the material I teach.
