## Overview
Below are the team members of Kylix - gathered around Gianluigi, a recent graduate from the Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong with expertise in Fintech and banking.

## Mission Statement
At Kylix Finance, our mission is create the most advanced and secure multi-chain lending platform. We envision a future where borrowers and lenders can seamlessly interact across different ecosystems, depositing, borrowing, and earning interest on cross-chain assets backed by collateral. Through our platform, we aim to unlock new opportunities for users to leverage their assets, earn passive income.

Secured by the Relay Chain of Polkadot, Kylix offers a decentralized lending solution for multi-chain assets (Polkadot, Ethereum, Solana, SUI, MintLayer).

## Funding Team
- **Gianluigi Davassi** - (CEO) Founder & Tech: ```Gianluigi is an entrepreneur and developer with extensive experience as CEO and CTO in financial technology. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa (Italy). Gianluigi spent several years focusing his career in the fintech and banking sectors in the UK, Germany, Italy and Mexico, specifically in the areas of retail lending, corporate lending, credit scoring and non-performing loans (NPL), combining his expertise in financial technology with a strong interest in Web3 and DeFi. He graduated from the Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong in 2024 and is proficient in Rust and event sourcing backend technologies.```

- **Kumar Gunjan** - (CTO) Tech: ```Kumar is a seasoned Blockchain Developer with a robust educational background from PBA, Hong Kong, specializing in Substrate, ZKP, and IPFS technologies. His expertise lies in designing distributed protocols and developing decentralized applications (Dapps), seamlessly merging web2 and web3 technologies. Kumar has spearheaded pivotal projects, such as implementing anonymous logins with ZKP and crafting React-based Dapps for enhanced user experiences. His leadership skills are evident in effectively managing dynamic teams, while his proficiency in communication and presentation sets him apart. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Kumar drives the integration of cutting-edge tech stacks, fostering the adoption of web3 technologies. His contributions have garnered recognition in community forums, including a notable win at the Polkadot hackathon in 2023.```

- **William Chen** - (Business Advisor) ```has first hand experience with intricacies of managing fully-on-chain entities, including treasury management, distributed workforce compensation processes and other internal financial and operational processes on both Polkadot and Ethereum. William was previously the COO of Talisman, as well as was selected by the Web3 Foundation to be a member of the first cohort of the Decentralized Voices program to steward Polkadot governance. He graduated from the Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong (2024), and holds an MBA and Computer Science degree from leading institutions.```

## Developers

- **Adrian Cîrstea** - Substrate Tech: ```Adrian, based in Bucharest, has extensive background working in mission-critical systems and cyber intelligence. Working primarily on infrastructure with a DevOps mindset, Adrian has a vast arsenal of technologies at his disposal, which only made him more curious about Web3 and blockchains. This curiosity eventually led him to attend the Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong, acquiring important Rust and Substrate skills along the way. Outside of his career, Adrian loves riding his motorcycle on curvy roads, skiing down the slopes or sparring in a boxing gym.```

- **Mugzar Akizhanov** - Substrate Tech: ```Mugzar holds an M.S. degree from the University of Southern California and has refined his web development skills within the .NET (C#) stack, contributing to projects in fintech, tourism, and logistics sectors. His technical expertise extends to proficiency in Rust programming, complemented by a profound interest in Web3 technologies nurtured during his tenure at the Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong. Beyond his technical pursuits, Mugzar is an avid enthusiast of hiking, chess, running, and swimming.```
