Email: Important: Update and action required for RightsCon Toronto Public Session Organizers

Hi there,

With just over a week until RightsCon Toronto begins, we're emailing with important updates regarding your public session. We're excited and hope you are too!

First, to assist you in leading the best possible session, we've created the RightsCon 2018 Session Leaders Guide. This is a comprehensive document containing important details on the venue, Sched, rooms, A/V functions, and more. Please read through it carefully, as it will contain answers to many questions you may have.

Next, we're asking that as a session organizer, you complete the following before EOD Wednesday, May 9, 2018 regarding your public session:

  • Identify which room your session is in and check its technical capabilities in the RC18 Session Leaders Guide. If you require technical capability for your session to function beyond what is listed for your room, please notify us immediately. (Not sure which room you're in? You can find this information at the bottom of your session page in Sched).
  • Check your session on the RightsCon Toronto Sched and let us know if you require any updates to your description or speaker list. (Not sure how to find your session? You can search it by title or ID).
  • Ask your speakers to sign up for Sched and upload their bios and photos. Make sure they've also registered for RightsCon - all participants, including speakers, are required to do so and we're close to selling out!

In order for us to ensure we can fulfill requests, please do not reply to this email and instead send us a new one at conference@accessnow.org with the subject: Session ID - Session Title.

Please note: if you are hosting a private session, you should have been contacted separately with confirmations.

See you soon!
