so for 24v system one needs two 12v batteries

Three different types of lead acid batteries are available flooded acid, gelled acid, and Advanced AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat).

**VRLA Flooded batteries**

VRLA flooded batteries generate and vent dangerous explosive gases through their valve regulation and must be vented to the outside world. These batteries also acid "mist" during charging and discharging. This leads to the corrosion of their terminals, and often-acid damage to surrounding surfaces.

Based on safety concerns
Either LFP(Lithium ferro phosphate cells )or Prismatic cells can be used

Both LFP and Prismatic cells have same parameter

under voltage = 2.65v
Nominal voltage = 3.2v
charged Voltage = 3.6v

LFP cells generally come with 6000mah or 6ah capacity each
prismatic cells have variable capacities from 10 ah to 300 ah each cell

* LFP Batteries have higher life cycle than Lead batteries

* LFP batteries need to be protected from water as it can shortcircuit
* LFP batteries are not available of the shelf with the configuration we need
* AGM batteries are easiy available every where and easy to replace
* LFP batteries one has to learn how to spot weld make configuration or find a person who can do it and repair and replacement of cells one has to learn but it would be a good exercise
