# PyGMT v0.11.0 released

**Announcing PyGMT v0.11.0 with 1 new tutorial, 4 new gallery examples, support of GMT 6.5, and access to 5 planetary reliefs!**

The PyGMT team is kicking off 2024 with version [v0.11.0](https://www.pygmt.org/v0.11.0), which is inline with the release of [GMT 6.5](https://docs.generic-mapping-tools.org/6.5/changes.html) just three weeks ago! First, the highlights :tada::
