I am part of a team that provides ELK
(and hoepfully soon OpenSearch) as a Service at SAP. It is meant to be used for observability data (logs, metrics, traces).
How to ingest metrics into OpenSearch?
- MetricBeat and OTEL exporter seem not to be the tool of choice with regard to long term support
- Telegraf could be an option
I am happy about any feedback.
10:25:05 From Jürgen Walter (SAP) to Everyone:
anyone having similar issues?
10:26:27 From Kyle Davis to Everyone:
👋 Jurgen - good question! I think a lot of folks have opinions on metric ingestion.
