We are testing a mockup of an app for clubber who wants to go home safely. It measures the alcohol level in your bood. Have you got any questions? --- **General information related to the topic** Q1: Do you go out in a nightclub? How often? - yes - yes - yes Q2: Do you drive? If so, have you ever driven under the influence of alcohol? - Yes - Yes - No drivers license. I drive a scooter. Yes it happened to me. Q3: How do you know if you drink too much to drive ? - Éthylotest but in general i know when i drank too much. - If i walk straight. - After 2 drinks i don't drive. Q4: Have you already connected a device via Bluetooth? - Yes - Yes - Yes Q5: Would you be willing to give access to your contacts? - Yes - Yes - Yes Q6: Would you be willing to give the following information: surname, first name, age, country? - Yes - Yes - yes Q7: Did you understand why we asked you for this information? - Yes - No - Yes Q8: Is the information we give you about the operation of the application sufficient? - Yes, they are easy to understant - yes, it's very clear - Yes --- **Behavior related to particular issues** Q9: What do you think of the concept of our application? - It's a useful applicationn, I would definitively use it, it's a reassuring app, it allows oneself to have control. - It's freshly new - It's clever Q10: What do you think of the design? - Good, it's. clean design. - It has to be reviewed, there is no link between the different pages. - very good Q11: What do you think of the name of our application? - Easy to remember. - Good - easy Q12: Would you use this app? If yes, why ? If not why ? - yes, it's a useful app. - Yes for my safety and the safety of other. - Yes, in order for me to go home safely. If yes, ask the following questions: Q13: How often would you use this app? - i would use it automatically if i drink alcohol in nightclub, at the restaurant, at my friend's house. - one or twice per week - every week Q14: Would you be willing to pay for this service? - Yes for the bracelet and 1 euro per month for the app - Yes between 10 and 15 euros per month. - No Q15: Did you have difficulty understanding our application? - No - No - No Q16: Did you have trouble using our app? - No, it's very simple. Just an issue on the page ALERT with the last Button So? We can't click on it. - No - No --- **Constructive suggestions for improvement** Q10: What would you like to improve? - it would be nice to have some food offered on the app and to add some buttons to come back on the main page when we click on the button Uber, ratp etc. An addition of a TCL button woould also be nice. - make the page clearer - the design ::: --- :::warning ## Testcard ## Pre-testing **Name:** - Théo, Alma,Sarah **Age:** - 20, 22, 20 **Occupation:** - Students **Context of the meeting (where, with who, etc.):** - The meeting was at the University with the student. we presented to them the survey follow by the scenarios. 2 interview were the same day, the other one was the day after. **Duration of the meeting:** - 15 mn --- ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction** (this is your first scenario): - You are at a club, you had two, three drinks, more than you thought to take when you arrived at the club earlier. Indeed, you drove to the nightclub, thinking that you would only drink a glass and not more. You feel nonetheless that you are not drunk neither tipsy. You hesitate between taking your car back home or join your friends and taking a cab. Can our app be useful in this scenario? **Observations:** - Students overwhelmy said that this app would be very useful in this situation were the alcohol test that this scenario is quite plausible. --- **2nd instruction:** (this is your second scenario): - You are at club, you've drunk heavyly, the friend that wass supposed to take you back home also. You feel in your drunkeness, that he is drunk also. You give him your bracelet so that he tests himself. Do you feel that the use of the app is plausible. **Observations:** - The students feel that it might be possible but it might be difficult to enter the caracteristic of the friends as the weight etc. --- ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - Very easy to understand the App - The name of the App is simple, easy to remember - Clean design - It is a usefull App --- **Neutral feedback:** - Proposition: add some food on the App - Proposition: add some buttons to come back on the main page --- **Negative feedback:** - Problem with a button - Make the page clearer - One of the student dont want to pay for this App. --- **Learning & insights:** - From that, we've learn that it's important to have an outside opinion to improve our App. We've also learned that it would be difficult to share a bracelet. --- **Decisions & actions:** - We will add some buttons to come back on the main page. # App 2: User testing survey CLUBBERFINDER :::warning ## Qualitative interview guide **Introduction** - Hi, we are students at emlyon business school. We are testing a mockup of an app for clubber who wants to find other clubbers to make party together. During a night out, it happens that a group a friends have different desirs regarding the end of the night. Our project allows clubbers to find clubbing partners. It require a smartphone and a connected bracelet. Have you got any questions? --- **General information related to the topic** Q1: Do you go out in a nightclub? If so, how often ? - Yes, twice a month - Yes, once a week - Yes, once a week Q2: Do you ever want to go to a nightclub but not find a partner to go to? - Yes - No - Yes Q3: What do you do if you have no one who is motivated to go out with you? - I stay home - I stay home - I stay home Q4: Would you be willing to go to a nightclub with strangers? - I am reluctant to this idea - Yes - No Q5: Have you understood the features of the bracelet? - No, I need one more page to explain the features. - Yes - It indicates the people to whom we are connected but a little doubt. **Behavior related to particular issues** Q6: What do you think of the concept of our application? - Top ! Very interactive - It is convenient - Ingenious but doubtful about the feasibility of the project, do people really want to go dancing with strangers? Q7: What do you think of the design? - Very well done, sober - Very innovative - Modern, intuitive Q8: What do you think of the name of our application? - We understand directly what we are talking about. - Creative - Simple and easy to understand Q9: Would you use this app? If yes, why ? If not why ? If yes, ask the following questions: - Yes - Yes, because I like to go out - Yes, maybe it is a good idea 1. How often would you use this app? - As soon as I go out - Once a week, when I go out. - Occasionally 2. Would you be willing to pay for this service? - Yes 1 € per month + bracelet price - No - No because too infrequent use Q10: Did you have difficulty understanding our application? - No, but I do not understand what the bracelet is for. - No - Not enough intuitive, the value of the bracelet is just not remarkable. You have an App and bracelet that will help you to solve this problem. Open our App please. **Observations:** - The students are interested, they all have already found themselves in this situation. --- **2nd instruction:** (this is your second scenario): - You are with friends at a club but they are tired and want to go home but you want to make party all night, what do you do know ? You have an App and bracelet that will help you to solve this problem. Open our App please. **Observations:** - The students are interested, they all have already found themselves in this situation. --- ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - Like the concept - Modern and intuitive design - Dont have any trouble using the App --- **Neutral feedback:** - The name is simple and easy to understand - Some people will maybe use the App --- **Negative feedback:** - They dont know what the bracelet is for - 2 of 3 will not pay for this service --- **Learning & insights:** - From that, we've learn that we must better explain the function of our bracelet and make the App as easy as possible. --- **Decisions & actions:** - We must add a back button on each page and explain better what the bracelet is for.
