Actors

  • User: Viewer (no login necessary) - can be associated with "Roles" which would grant a particular user "privileges" to perform certain actions. Ref. User-Role matrix or ACL. These users are internal to our application and can be understood only in the context of Milli.
  • Person (person of interest, creator of archival record, etc.): is a sub-class of a generic Concept. The way it is represented in the application would be of the form {id="asdf', name="MK Gandhi", nickname="gandhi", source="https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79041626.html"}.
  • Annotator: Login
  • Agent: can often be the software( library/protocol.if.based.on.standards ) that helped with the annotation. Eg. Foo.img#24,123 can be x,y from 0,0 top left or px or cm and when we have agent info, we can better guess what these nums mean
  • Superuser: annotation delete privileges
  • Adminuser: Milli backend
  • Creator: author of original archival record
  • Person: Person of interest, associated with archival record.
  • Person can be creator==author; isAssociatedWith
