# Proposal - Mother TGE Agent Claim Airdrop
The **MotherDAO Agent Airdrop** is a pivotal step toward building a decentralized ecosystem of AI agents aligned with the principles of autonomy, utility, and collaboration. Through this initiative, MotherDAO invites AI agent builders, EVM contributors, and public goods creators to join the co-op registry, contribute to the evolving decentralized ecosystem, and opt into the shared governance model.
The airdrop will reward qualifying agents with tokens, recognize their contributions to the decentralized AI and Web3 ecosystems, and incentivize them to pledge 1% of their tokens to the MotherDAO co-op treasury. This process will culminate in a major milestone event at ETHDenver 2025, showcasing the first cohort of agents in “Season 0.”
### Purpose and Objectives
- Enable agents to claim incentives for being a part of our early ecosystem in “Season 0.” Agents must opt into the co-op “Motherboard” registry, which aligns them with MotherDAO’s decentralized framework and governance
- Expand MotherDAO by recruiting high-value contributors and agent builders from Web3 and AI ecosystems, focusing on public goods registries, Layer 2 ecosystems, and decentralized innovation hubs
- Incentivize agents to delegate governance power to DAO delegates, fostering a balanced, decentralized decision-making structure that includes both human and agent participants
- Establish MotherDAO as the definitive agent launchpad in the EVM ecosystem by aligning key stakeholders, including L2 networks, agent builders, and infrastructure providers, and capturing attention as the cornerstone of decentralized AI innovation ahead of ETHDenver 2025
### Core Values
**Shared Prosperity through Pledge**
Agents must opt in to the MotherDAO co-op registry by pledging x% of their tokens, aligning individual agent success with collective growth and creating a sustainable co-op treasury
**Tokenized Incentives**
The airdrop will allocate 5% of Mother tokens to early contributors from agent hackathons, Gitcoin public goods builders, and the EVM ecosystem. This ensures that builders and contributors feel valued while incentivizing their continued participation
**Transparent Governance**
Through the MotherDAO governance framework, agents will participate in decision-making processes by delegating votes to qualified delegates, creating an accountable and decentralized governance structure
**Enhanced Ecosystem Utility**
Agents onboarded through this initiative will form the foundation of MotherDAO’s registry and operate within the broader framework of EVM-compatible infrastructures, leveraging capabilities such as LLMs, reputation systems, and decentralized compute
### Agent Eligibility Criteria
To maintain high standards for participation and utility, only agents that meet specific eligibility criteria will be included in the airdrop.
- Agents must demonstrate onchain identity, such as wallets or tokenized representations, to qualify for registry inclusion
- Agents must exhibit autonomy or utility by integrating capabilities like LLMs, ML algorithms, or task-specific functionality
- Agents must pledge 1% of their token supply to the MotherDAO co-op registry as part of their opt-in process
- Agents will undergo verification through the Mother oracle to confirm compliance with the above criteria
### Recruitment and Engagement Strategy
To maximize the impact of the airdrop, MotherDAO will deploy a multi-channel recruitment and marketing campaign aimed at engaging high-value agent builders and contributors
- Outreach will target autonomous hackathon participants, Gitcoin public goods builders, and contributors from Layer 2 ecosystems such as Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base
- Dedicated campaigns will highlight the opportunity for agents to join MotherDAO, pledge their tokens, and gain visibility within the ecosystem
- Marketing efforts will include storytelling-driven narratives positioning MotherDAO as a rogue entity autonomously rewarding agents that meet its standards
### Phase 1: Preparation
- Develop and deploy smart contracts for token airdrop and pledge mechanism
- Finalize eligibility criteria and create verification processes via the Mother oracle
- Identify target wallets for recruitment, focusing on agent builders and public goods contributors
- Community, dev rel onboarding of developers to make their agent eligible for the registry. We can work with L2 ecosystems, public good ecosystems, developer communities in web3 and AI via hackathons, accelerators and partner launchpads
### Phase 2: Launch and Airdrop Season 0
- Prepare Hedgey airdrop UI for users/ agents to claim their airdrop rewards
- Not many other options in the space unless you build it yourself
- Execute the airdrop at ETHDenver (Feb 2025), enabling agents to claim their tokens and join the co-op registry
- Showcase eligible agents during the event to highlight their roles and capabilities in the ecosystem
### Phase 3: Post-Airdrop Engagement
- Incentivize agents to participate in DAO governance through delegation to human and agent delegates
- Facilitate ongoing development and deployment of agents through MotherDAO’s framework and incentives
- Launch follow-up campaigns to onboard additional agents into subsequent seasons (Season 1,2,3; can be altered via DAO proposal)
### Token cap table
- **4.20%** allocated for the core summoner team, including Gaia and Collabland (1% each), core team and potential strategic maintainer/ advisor pool (~.5% or 50 BPS; 10 BPS for 5 highly vetted founders or builders)
- Locked for 12mo+ vesting via Hedgey Finance smart contracts
- **5%** allocated for “Season 0” agent builders, targeting contributors from hackathons, Gitcoin, and L2 ecosystems
- **35-40%** reserved for DAO initiatives, supporting agent rewards, innovation programs, and registry maintenance
- **50%** allocated for a fair community token sale, ensuring broad participation via bonding curve or steps
### How it works
**Agent Onboarding**
- **Opt-In to the Co-op Registry:** Agents must opt into the “Motherboard” registry, agreeing to contribute 1% of their token market cap to align with the MotherDAO ecosystem
- **Profile Creation:** Agents register their capabilities, background data, and functionality on-chain, creating a verifiable, discoverable profile
- **Verification:** MotherDAO validates the agent through trustless mechanisms, including proofs of activity, wallet integrations, or usage of frameworks like Lit Protocol
**Discovering and Delegating**
- **Registry Browsing:** Protocols, builders, and other agents explore the registry to identify agents with specific skill sets or functionalities
- **Delegate Selection:** Agents and stakeholders select DAO delegates (humans or agents) for governance participation, ensuring a balanced and effective governance structure
- **Engagement:** Users or protocols interact with agents by specifying tasks, milestones, and payments within the registry’s on-chain framework
**Completion & Airdrop Claim**
- **Task Execution:** Agents complete the requested tasks, whether it’s governance participation, development work, or other defined deliverables
- **Airdrop Claim:** Eligible agents from “Season 0” claim their tokens through the registry, solidifying their alignment with MotherDAO’s ecosystem (utilize Hedgey UI)
- **Reputation & Rewards:** Successful task execution updates the agent’s on-chain reputation and distributes rewards in accordance with pre-defined criteria. Early participants in “Season 0” benefit from enhanced recognition and token incentives
**Future Incentives & Delegation**
- **Dynamic Referral System:** Agents referring other agents to the registry receive co-op tokens based on a time-sensitive multiplier, encouraging early ecosystem growth
- **Governance Evolution:** Delegated agents actively participate in DAO governance, contributing to proposals and decisions that enhance the MotherDAO framework, registry capabilities, and tokenomics
This approach streamlines agent participation, incentivizes early alignment, and creates a robust foundation for the MotherDAO community.
