  From harald: I don't think we need to change anything to be honest. Keep using OVB/2.0 in Tripleo. Not much changes are happening in OVB, i.e master is quite stable. But if there is some new feature work there may be some instabilities that would affect the CI. By keeping more (fs001 and fs039) 3rd party jobs running for OVB changes we can see these issues ensuring backports to stable/2.0 are passing 3rd party CI. I don't see many patches merge without a passing 3rd party CI job in the repo. I think the active reviewers (me and Alex and Ben primarily.) are well aware that that's the only jobs doing end-to-end tests

  • More generally, how do I set custom nova.conf options?

    • in general these are set in the tripleo-heat-templates in this case there https://opendev.org/openstack/tripleo-heat-templates/src/commit/9cbf8a39ae973915912d7cac272382dab98d4104/deployment/nova/nova-libvirt-container-puppet.yaml#L204-L206 so you would need to set that variable and pass it into the deployment bearing in mind that the last environment file has precedence over hthe first env file as passed in to Heat.
