# Heretic Gimmicky Shit
## Rituals
### Parade of Fools
- 3 Hats
- 3 Raw meat
- 1 Stomach
Summons 3 "Fools" that will run around and attempt to steal and consume items around the stations. Will not target heretics. When a fool is killed all items it consumed will be dropped. When a fool is hit it will spit out one item possesed (like revenants) to defend itself. They are able to slip under doors to access different areas.
### Recall Fools
- 1 Harebell
Causes all "Fools" active on the station to head for your rune, when they arrive they will drop all the items they have consumed.
### Rekindle Metal
- 1 Dead Borg
- 1 Bottled Storm
Revives the borg as a Twisted Automaton, it has access to a variety of strange modules: Unleashed Entropy, turns a tile rusted; Gate Unsealed, which allows you to hold heretic related items; Gale, pushes everything around the borg back; Bolt, fires a shocking lightning bolt; Twist, emags something; Spirit Call, make an item possesed.
Twisted Automatons have strange laws and directives. Including "Open the way." and others, they should be left up to interpretation but closer to purged than anything.
### Twist Flora
- 1 Living plant OR 1 potted plant
- 1 Bloodstain
- 1 Botanical Tool
Changes whatever plant was involved in this ritual with different outcomes based on the plant involved.
Potted plants become Fools End, a plant which takes the appearence of a dead human with a bag but if interacted with will snap their jaws and be stuck like a beartrap. It will then unless the person is helped slowly take hold of their corpse and begin using it as bait.
All mushrooms become Puffing Agaric, a type of mushroom which continually emits fumes. Breathing in the fumes over a longer period will infect you with a status effect called Agaric Growth, which will cause lung damage and you to cough up spores that grow Puffing Agaric and eventually sprout Puffing Agaric on your body. It can be removed with holy water. The heretic can drink unholy water to become immune to the effects and still spread the plant. The plant has a trait which will emit the contents of the plant as smoke whilst its growing.
All types of grass become Haunting Sward, it will slowly spread from out of its pot and doesnt allow vision in or out of the sward for non-heretics. Inside the Sward lost souls spawn, walking into them causes your temperature to lower significantly and has a chance to drop what you are holding. Death inside of the Haunting Sward increases the spawn rate of lost souls. The plant has a trait which has a chance on each tick to turn an adjacent plant into a copy of itself.
All types of flowers become Gazing Scions, a type of flower which holds a large eye in the center. Gazing Scions will mark humans within its vision range allowing the heretic to see them through walls. Facing a Gazing Scion causes continual sanity damage, scaling with how close you are to the plant, at lower sanity will make you hallucinate everyone as being gone. The plant has a trait which causes it to grow rapidly upon being observed.
All types of weed become Door Creepers, a type of vine which will grow across the walls of the station. Walking into a wall covered in Door Creepers will teleport you to another wall covered in Door Creepers. Non-heretics walking through a door creeper will suffer sanity damage, and walking through one has a scaling chance (Scales inversely with sanity) to teleport you to the rolling hills, a dangerous area filled with kudzu (same that the painting produce) which you must escape.
All remaining plants become Entropic Husks. Once harvested and held will continually siphon blood from the holder, it can be thrown to embed into someone and cause the same effect. Entropic Husks will transform into Harebells if fed 20u of blood. Entropic Husks will also turn tiles within a 3x3 area rusted whilst growing. The plant has a trait which causes it to grow rapidly with blood but only accept blood as fertilizer.
### Night of the Howling Gale
- 1 Bottled Storms
- 1 Fragment of False Darkness
- Mawed Crucible (Not Consumed)
Must be performed in darkness. Causes all lights on the station to flicker and go out for 5 minutes. During this period the heretic is granted perfect nightvision. Eldritch Winds will also blow around the station causing damage and knockdown to anyone caught in their way. They will be telegraphed by a clear rushing wind sound. Laying down stops you from being hit. Can only be performed once per shift.
### Silent Hour
- 1 Fragment of False Darkness
- 3 Tongues
- 3 Cables
- Mawed Crucible (Not Consumed)
Makes all beings on the station mute and deaf for 100 seconds. Can only be performed once per shift.
### Ball of Lost Souls
- 1 Fragment of False Darkness
- 3 Blood Stains
- 3 Instruments (Not Consumed)
Allows you to pick an area of the station to start the ball in. That area will be announced to the station. After 20 seconds the ball will start. Inside the area ghosts can manifest and any living creature inside will appear as a "masked dancer" hiding their indentity. All mobs inside of the ball are pacified. The ball will dissapear after 3 minutes.
// Might be cool to move the area picking for this and other rituals that have similar effects to a new item, forcing the heretic to draw some sort of sigil to mark the area for a ritual
## Structures
### Shrouding Grave of Loss
- Hypospray
- Corpse

- Any flower OR heretic flora
Creates a mist which when constructed will rapidly fill up the area in which it was built and will then slowly extend over time to a maximum range. Any non-heretic within the mist will have their vision range shrink and suffer hallucinations, as they get closer to the grave they will also begin to suffer toxic damage unless wearing a gas mask. The mist will also continually inject the heretic and anyone caught within with unholy water.
// Small comment here, this might be a bit too strong? It could be made harder to create or require something like the corpse of a target instead of any corpse
### Throne of the Maimed lord
- Crown
- 9 Blood Stains
- Office Chair
- 5 Gold
- Knife (Not consumed)
Once constructed the heretic will need to sit on the throne to link to it. Linking to the throne is permanent. Whilst linked to the throne if the heretic dies they will be ressurected after 2 minutes sitting on the throne with one limb replaced by a tainted version. Tainted limbs are weaker and prone to falling off. Once all 4 limbs have been tainted the throne will be disabled and the heretic will no longer be able to respawn there. Whilst active the throne will corrupt the area it is, creating blood on the ground and whispering to people in a 30 x 30 area. The whispers will become more audible the closer one gets to the throne. The heretic will recieve a notification if the throne is attacked. If the throne is destroyed all 4 of the heretics limbs will be tainted.
The area the throne is created in must be on the station.
// Note, the ressurection effect might encourage combat a bit too much? I think its a cool idea inspite of that though, allowing heretics who manage to make the throne to get a power boost.
## Items

An eye you can drop anywhere and use an ability to see through. The unseen eye will cloak itself when not being actively used. Whilst you are using the unseen eye you are able to mark humans which will allow you to see them through walls for 2 minutes. A human being marked will receive a warning about being watched.
### Mask of the waltz
- Mask
- Leather
Blood can be added to the mask. When worn will make you appear as a copy of the person whos blood is in the mask, otherwise will make your voice appear as that of your identity. The mask can be broken to swap positions with the person whos blood is in the mask, and this will cause your disguise to drop after 1 minute.
### Garland of whispers
- 4 Flowers
- 1 Gazing Scion
- 1 Tongue
A flower necklace which appears normal but can open the eye of the gazing scion inside to begin whispering. Clicking on the Garland opens a radial menu letting you pick a ritual, the Garland will then tell you where the items required for those rituals are. The Garland can also whisper the location of players and their current conidtion if given a drop of their blood. Whilst the Garland is whispering it will be audible to players nearby. Non-heretic players hearing the whispers will slowly suffer brain damage unless wearing ear protection.
### Puppeteers Harp

Strike a corpse with the puppeteers harp to begin playing the harp. The corpse will rise and you'll be controlling it, moving the corpse causes you to begin playing notes with the harp. You will only be able to control the corpse whilst playing the harp and you can only return if the corpse puppet takes enough damage or if you use an ability to take you back to your body.
### Bottled Storm
- 1 Glass Bottle
- 4 Power Cells OR 1 Mega Cell
Captured lightning in a bottle. When thrown or broken will repulse all nearby targets and shock them for a small amount of burn damage.
### Fragment of False Darkness
- 1 Glass Shard
- 1 Shattered Lightbulb
- 1 Knife (Not consumed)
Must be performed in darkness. Can be broken in hand to let out a blinding gas.
