## What is your community or project? *

SHE is a decentralized NFT and ERC20 platform built on Web3 designed for athletes to tokenize their accomplishments in a merit-driven, collectible economy. For the last two years, SHE has been a force manifested by the community to give athletes a space in the new web. The goal is to reshape the sports industry into a creator-oriented economy. With Web3 tokenized technology, athletics can become an immutable, merit-driven, bottom up sweat economy where fans can directly invest in athletes' goals and feats.

About Two years ago, the idea of SHE only had about 5-10 like minded individuals. We have now blossomed to a Discord community of ~1000 members with contributors from all over the DAO space, including BrightID, Raid Guild, SourceCred, and more.

SHE distributes weekly token drops to contributors using a specialized SourceCred instance that has been redefined many times over to be tailored to the growth and maintenance of SHE. Decentralization via little to no barrier is a key merit of the SHE community. $PRTCLE, SHE's utility/governane token, measures key attributes like contributions, monetary investment, and sybil uniqueness which allows for a plethora of awesome Web3 features including:
- Merit based reward system
- Decentralized atheletic consensus layer
- Tokens are given to the most active/bullish members

## How would you describe your call to adventure? *

Web2 was a tremendous failure for athletes. Web3 carries astronomical potential for bottom up change of atheltes livelihoods. The core premise of SHE, and its Shenanigan protocol, is to strip athletes from their reliance on sponsorships, advertisements, and contracts. SHE utilizes decentralized data layers (i.e. Ceramic, IPFS), Smart Contracts, and video streaming (i.e Livepeer) to create the first ever sports organization where athletes own their feats.

Creating communities behind athletes starts at changing what it means to be an athlete online, focusing on improvment more than viewsa and like. The latter tends to benefit entertainers far more often than record- breaking athletes. For this reason, TV deals and sponsorships tend to favor a select few sports while Instagram, Tik Tok, and Youtube favor clickbait and ad-driven content. Tokenized comunities allow SHE to create a direct investment line between fans and athletes, with elements of gamification that curtail to hardcore sports fans.

SHE is on the cusp of its alpha launch of the Dathlete token model. In the coming weeks, first Dathlete ever will officially be minted.

## What is one goal for your project that you would like to work toward in the Accelerator? *

SHE has two primary goals for the accelerator.
1. Locking in one more core developer to finish our 4 person dev team. Preferrably talented in web3 infrastructure and React Native
2. Finding more high profile athletes that would be interested in experimenting with the Dathete Token Model (we already have a few possibilities.)

[BrightId Discord Bot](https://github.com/ShenaniganDApp/brightid-discord-bot)

SHE required a secondary layer of sybil resistance for its SourceCred instance. Our head developer, Victor, put together a basic NodeJs bot, setup heroku, and launched it in a couple days. Once the bot was technically functional, Victor contacted BrightId who worked alongside him to setup a BrightID Context for the bot. Once the Cntext was launched, BrightId adopted it into their [BrightID apps list](https://apps.brightid.org/).

Since then, SHE has done general maintenance on the bot, including a few cosmetic and technical upgrades. There is currently a Shenanigan-funded Raid through Raid Guild to upgrade the bot to support BrightID sponsorships.

For the last year, the team has led a Discord of over 1000 members, helping navigate retroactive token distributions, product launches, announcements and rebranding, weekly blogposts, negative actors, and more. SHE has done great things: the BrightID Discord Bot, LP Farms w/ SourceCred, Introductory Videos and Blogposts, dance parties at MCON. SHE also bounced back from the unsuccesful launch of Dripp, remedying the failed launch with the followup successful launch of [PANTS](http://pants.energy)
