Developer focus

  • [ravi] - Question on georep. Specially about changing names etc.

  • [Aravinda] - most of the things are fine, but only in <xml> output can be an issue.

  • [Barak] - issue on perf of rebalance.

Component status

  • DHT - trying to improve perf of rebalance, why is a layout per directory (???)
    answer: to increase randomness. tools to do bench create too much directories in the same bucket, and this didn't gave good benchmark (didn't reflect real workload, and so reflected bad when people tested in entreprise)
    answer: it would be a good idea to have a global layout per nodes and not just per directoy as a option would be good
    [Amar] - Please make it optional.
