Non-Redeemable Reserve (wxDai)

The Non-Redeemable Reserve (wxDai) is a percentage of the total raised that cannot be redeemable by the Backers.

Where:

  • nr: Non-redeemable reserve (wxDai);
  • ht: Hatch Tribute (%);
  • tr: Total Raised (wxDai).

Redeemable Reserve (wxDai)

The redeemable Reserve (wxDai) is given by the Total Raised (wxDai) subtracted by the Non-Redeemable Reserve (wxDai).

Where:

  • rr: Redeemable Reserve (wxDai);
  • tr: Total Raised (wxDai);
  • nr: Non-redeemable (wxDai).

Impact Hour Rate (wxDai/IH)

The impact hour rate (wxDai/IH) equation defines how much should be paid for each Impact Hour (IH). The IH rate depends on the total raised in the Hatch Phase. The equation is modeled as below.

Where:

  • ihr: Impact hour rate (wxDai/IH);
  • tr: Total raised by the hatch (wxDai);
  • mihr: Maximum impact hour rate (wxDai/IH);
  • ihs: Impact hour slope (wxDai/IH);
  • tih: Total impact hours (IH).

Shaping the Curve with Target Goal Impact Hour Rate

Originally we had the designers manually choose the Maximum impact hour rate (mihr) and the Impact hour slope (ihs) but this proved very non-intuitive, so after much debate and interation we decided to derive the ihs from the mihr and point on the curve defined by the Target Goal and the impact hour rate at the Target Goal (tgihr).

  • mihr: Maximum impact hour rate (wxDai/IH);
  • tgihr: Impact hour rate at target goal (wxDai/IH);
  • tg: Target goal (wxDai);
  • tih: Total impact hours (IH).

Backers TECH Issuance

The Backers TECH Issuance is defined as the total TECH tokens minted to the Backers.

Where:

  • : Total TECH minted to backers (TECH);
  • tr: Total Raised (wxDai);
  • hmr: Hatch minting rate (TECH/wxDai).

Builders TECH Issuance

The Builders TECH Issuance is defined as the total TECH tokens minted to the Builders.

Where:

  • : Total TECH minted to builders (TECH);
  • tih: Total Impact Hours (IH);
  • ihr: Impact Hour Rate (wxDai/IH);
  • hmr: Hatch minting rate (TECH/wxDai).

Total TECH Issuance

The total TECH issuance is given by the sum of the Builders and the backers issuance.

Where:

  • : Total TECH minted (TECH);
  • : Total TECH minted to backers (TECH);
  • : Total TECH minted to builders (TECH);

Equiv to mint @ target goal

Backers RageQuit Percentage (%)

The Backers RageQuit Percentage is defined as the value the backers get back when ragequit compared to the initial covesting.
