The plan
--------
Basically you're free to do whatever you want witho whoever you want, but given the travel constraints of some people I'm dropping around here some basic scheduling.
##### 22/07-24/07
PLAN α: (cost: 0EUR)
**22/07, 12:30**: Michele, Lili, Clémence arrive in Golfo Aranci. They find a place where to sleep with a tent after enjoying 1-2 beaches like in Tavolare (where there's no cops) or San Teodoro (where it's swarming with cops).
**22/07, 14:00** Arturo arrives in Olbia with his wonderful Clio. Picks up Michele, Clémence and Lili and they head towards Isili, stopping on the way in the abandoned village of Lollove.
Activities
----------
You should assume there are no food, drinks, showers on the beach.
The more you go far from the Base inland, the more intense your experience will be. The indigenous people from Isli will be able to guide us into quests such as [Nuraghes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuraghe), [woods](https://www.sardegnaturismo.it/fr/explorer/le-parc-aymerich), and beaches.
Here's the result of a intense brainstorming with the locals:
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=1V5SOc9oop1N99j8YTYwWkTzz6PbsTUPY" width="640" height="480"></iframe>
Legend:
means place for UrbEx. It's either an abandoned village, a shipwrek, an abandoned train, etc. means monument: Nuraghe (castle), Domus de Janas (fairy house) or Giant's tomb
 means canoing.
 means beach.
means there's a place we can sleep.
means art, this is generally for street art.
means hiking trail. If it's green it menas more entertaining; if it's yellow more chill.
means friends speaking en/fr can guide us around here
Here's a bunch of possible itineraries:
- **EAST**: hiking + beaches, *Golfo Orosei Touring*
There's a bunch of hikes in the park tons of pretty beaches: Cala Gonone, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu, **Cala Luna**. Not far from there there's also [Orgosolo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orgosolo_mural) (city widely known for kidnappings and murals).
Figuring out a good plan for sleeping is essential. Wildcamping in Sardinia is forbidde, and in this area ot is heavily sanctioned. There's a few camping spots for ~20EUR/person (that's crazy…), and cheaper Airbnbs in the closer area that we could take for a night.
There's also the chance of renting a raft and visiting the beaches a bit faster.
- **SOUTH**: walks + beaches, *Nora*
From the southern beaches close to Cagliari (Chia, Pula, S. Margherita) there [should be a trail](https://www.sardegnaturismo.it/en/explore/santa-margherita-di-pula) leading to Nora, an ancient roman city and now archeological park that is directly on the sea.
The place is pretty good and we can sleep one night at my aunt's house which is ~500mt from the sea of S. Margherita, and 20' from Pula by car.
- Urbex
With an insanely low population (1mln in the island), Sardinia has also [tons of abandoned useless places](https://www.sardegnaabbandonata.it/mappa/). I selected a few of them in strategic areas:
-- Lollove, on the way from Oristano to Olbia, that is a medieval-looking city that [Grazia Deledda](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grazia_Deledda) used in one of her books.
-- Osini vecchio, on the way from Isili to Orosei, is close to Ulassai. In ulassai there is [Ilaria](https://ilachill.github.io/), leading expert in fully-homomorphic encryption implementations, that can guide us around the area.
- what to do in Isili
In my village there is already the [Is Paras](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuraghe_Is_Paras). Security around the area is pretty loose, and despite you'll probably get fined if police wants to, you can just cross the small precint and explore the inside.
In the village there is also a [little lake](https://www.italianways.com/the-church-of-san-sebastiano-in-isili-sardinias-little-mont-saint-michel/) that is very good for walking around, you can even go fishing, canoing, and climbing.
- There's an ancient mining cave
Conduct
----
This is what I can offer:
- **House:** free accomodation is provided in the village of [Isili](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isili), land of sheeps and copper.
- **House:** short-term accomodation options in [Pula](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pula,_Sardinia), a in a family house in the south close to the beach of Santa Margherita. This is the point of interest "Aunties".
- **Camp:** piece of land in Siniscola, that belonged to the wider family. [more detail to come]
- **Equipment**: basic beach equipment, suitable for 5 ppl at most.
- **Transport:** we will be able to move around with the help of a Panda, a top-notch product of Italian engeneering.

We might rent an additional car. Renting a car using Sixt or Europcar is much cheaper on the mainland. In Sardinia starting price for a 5-people car is 280EUR according to this [raimbow website](https://www.autonoleggiosardinya.com).
3. The deal is that we use the house of my grandparents as a base, and move around. We don't have to hang out together all the time, you can stay home as long as you want.
Some basic norms that my parents or friends would like to be clear.
- **Respect social distancing with my parents.**
- **Do not enter my parent's house. Even if the door is open.**
- **There will be couples with us, they shall take their own independent side-quests.**
