Can we do this with ActivityPub extended by Valueflows?

There is a spec we can use as a starting point called FEP-0837. It can be modified as we get experience with it.

Issues:

People who currently participate in the fediverse would need to create another login because nothing existing will support this. Not a show-stopper.
We need something that supports groups as actors. People can then just follow the ones they want. Do we need something more, like groups that want an onboarding process, have a fee, etc.? Should that remain outside this scope, and people would be linked to the group's software?
We need something that supports a specific UI that doesn't exist, and probably different for each kind of offers/wants agreement: timebank, mutual credit/marketplace, commitment pool, ?. And/or a way to put different UI pieces into a frame of some sort. (Do people still use iFrames?)
We need a fedi backend that can add VF to the server-to-server federation. Bonfire wants to do this, we'd need to coordinate with them around timing, and probably support some dev work and/or contribute a dev. Or another team could fork something else and add VF.
Mobile interface… considerations?

Experiment with:

I think each group would need a link to all the info about them, including how they operate.

They could follow a group from a list. This gets them view capability.
They could join a group, per the group's onboarding process. (outside the scope? should follow and join be different?)
They could see offers/wants for a group, or combined.
They could search/filter.
They could see their own offers/wants from different groups.
They could discuss offers/wants? (using existing AP social)
