This is the California Zephyr. A train line spanning 2,438 miles from Chicago to San Francisco. Widely seen as one of the most scenic train rides in the world, The California Zephyr has a lot to offer. Onboard there are amazing people, Astonishing views, and most importantly a different way to see America. This is the Adventure Across America Episode 4. The California Zephyr. (Music cuts in)
"But First we have to Get to Union Station."" (Cut to Footage on L train)

Welcome to Union Station. An Incredible architectural Masterpiece built in 1925. Right Next to the Amazing Great Hall, is the Metropoliatan Lounge. Due to my Sleeper Class Ticket, I was granted access. The Lounge itself is rather unimpressive Compared to the rest of union station, but with free food and drinks and plenty of Seating it was a great place to relax before the Train.
But Before Long it was time to Climb Aboard
(Make it clear somewhere this is day 1)

"Welcome Aboard the California Zephyr. Its 2:02 and we are pulling out."" As we Left the city of Chicago it was mostly Industrial and Residental. But before long we were already at our next stop. "Welcome to our first station stop of Naperville" We also past through many Metra Stations. (Metra is CHicagos Commuter rail netowrk) "On trains its important to stay occupied as you got a lot of sitting around. ONe of my favorite things to do is read and I feel like it is appropiate that I am reading Zephyr on the California Zephyr" (scenery break between talking to show were moving)"We are currently sitting outside Aurora waiting for freight trains to pass, which is fairly common.""(Play Jeopardy theme song for like 5 seconds) "back to moving again" Now time to explore the train! "were in 531 so lets see whats next to us" "and then theres the lounge car" And this is what the coach cars look like. Welcome to Galesburg! (Make me say this when I show first clip of Galesburg) "Theres the Railway museum over there, I really gotta visit here sometime" "Galesburg is really cool, and were off were moving I dont rem--- Announcement interrupts " "In the not too distant future we are gonna be crossing the mississipi riveer"(acenery) time for dinner! As you can see the dinner was very good. Although there old tradtional dining service was slightly better, this is worlds better then the Flexible dining menu. Here we are Crossing the Mississipii river. After a little time in the lounge car, it was time for bed. Goodnight. (Cut to black screen)
### California Zephyr Day 2

"Good Morning Everyone, Our Next Station stop is denver and i think we are like 40 minutes behind schedule. IM excited for the day" Lets go to Breakfast! "So this is a new line of the denver commuter rail, its to thornton it was recently added and we are going along the tracks" Once again the breakfast was very good and impressed me. " We are backing in to union station" (Maybe speed this up) Heres a few photos from my exploration of Union Station. And were moving. As we left Denver the Scenery was Breathtaking.(scenery montage choose your favorites) I met an amazing person named Bob who chatted with me about trains. Another reason I love Amtrak is because of all the intresting people you will meet. (Say this while passing through scenery) (where I say Highest dam wall) After talking with Bob I also got to talk to the amazing conductor. We passed throguh beautiful rivers, went through huge tunnels, and through small towns. (correlate to with what I am saying) "it's snowing right now. Its really beautiful out here" (More Scenery)"We are about to go through the Moffat Tunnel which is a 6.2 mile long tunnel. Its gonna be amazing and you have to stay in your seat during the tunnel cuz if you move some exhuast will get in but it should be really cool, Ill show you what thats like" (10 minutes later spongebob)SHow clip of train leaving tunnel. "Welcome to the winter park ski resort we just exited the moffat tunnel and this is amazing. (scenery)"its beautiful" "Snow" *TRAIN HORN* "our next station stop is granby which is quite close, it should be cool" (Scenery) "Look at those cabooses" 'Just left Granby our next station wont be for over 3 hours for glenwood springs."" Enjoy the scenery! (scenery) Me talking during scenery: As we left Granby the views just kept getting better and better. Raging Rivers, Tall Mountains right outside. (Scenery with no talking but music) "Its currently around 12:00 we are about to have lunch overall been a great really scenic day, amazing scenery just look at that" (A little more scenery) cut to clip in dining car. This section from Granby to Glenwood Springs was the most scenic part of the Zephyr. I could not stop taking pictures. "We are approaching Glenwood Springs and the inbound train number 6 is just there and so were gonna have to back in and take an intresting route, we should be able to see number 6" (Glenwood springs station Pictures) (SCENERY) "Were out of the rocky mountains and it is getting flatter now"(Dinner pics) "Overall a great dinner, and were just about in to green river.(scenery) (Picture of helper utah) As the sunset I reflected on the day. It was one of the best days of my life.

### California Zephyr Day 3
(Start with pictures of sun rising)
""Good Morning everyone as you just saw the sun is rising and we are about to go Winnemucca and this is our last day on the zephyr" (Scenery) " I had a really good breakfast, we are running about an hour and a half behind due to signal problems" I went to the Lounge car and as always I glued my eyes to the amazing views out the window. (Show scenery while I say that) Then video in Reno. "A nice quick stop in Reno and now were gonna go back to the Lounge car" (Scenery) Here we are having lunch in the dining car and you can see Lake Tahoe. (Show burger) "Waterfall!" "We are currenty stuck right outside Colfax because a little truck that was on the rails derailed so now they have to go fix that and we are about to be on a single track portion and theres 2-3 freight trains that need it" (Show my pictures and play jeopardy theme song) "53 minutes later were movin"(scenery) "So were in sacramento were about 5 hours late nothin much" (scenery)"Just arriving in Martinez" (scenery)"Bye Roomette Number 5" "Welcome to Emeryville" Thank you so much for watching.
