## Overview
This catalog is a study of the region of digimon space known as the **Clover Array**, a cluster of zones fed the raw input generated by users of the website 4chan.org. Described herein is an examination of the geography, society and history of each zone, each of which parallels the content and character of the "board" on which it is based. The known history and structure of the Array itself is also described here, however much of the information regarding its founding is either lost or fragmentary.

## Zones
<!-- Sort zones alphabetically by board name -->
### /a/ - Moon Zone
#### Demographics
#### Geography
As its name implies, the Moon Zone is a crater blasted, desolate wasteland with a sky that stays black even during the day.
#### Society
The Moon Zone's inhabitants are obsessed with the discovery and dissemination of what they consider to be "superior works", though the content they obsess over is incomprehensible to most them in its untranslated form. These superior works all appear written in a language known as moonrunes, or recordings of its spoken form known as moonspeak, and though most of the digimon who live in this zone are incapable of understanding more than a few words, they habitually complain about the quality of the translations made by those who do understand them.

### /an/ - Wild Zone
#### Demographics
The digimon of the Wild Zone tend to be mostly bestial in appearance, with a great many mammalian and reptilian digimon living there. There are also a number of insectoid digimon living there, though not nearly as many as those based on vertebrates.
#### Geography
The Wild Zone contains a striking number of diverse biomes in a relatively small area. From rain forest to savanna, desert to tundra, the lands here represent nearly all the distinct climates of Earth. Interestingly, the land itself contains no known instances of man made structures as is common to nearly every other zone, nor are any digimon made structures to be seen.
#### Society
Digimon living in the Wild Zone are unique in that nearly all of them are primitivists. The shared philosophy of the digimon living there seems to be living in harmony with nature. No villages or even structures are built anywhere, and most digimon eschew even simple comforts like fire or body coverings.
The one exception to this is the cultivation of food. Rather than be subject to foraging to find wild food, the digimon here engage in a form of forest farming wherein they will plant the seeds of the fruits and vegetables they eat and cultivate them as best they can. While there are no farms as such here, it's not unlikely to find orchards or fields filled with vegetables in nearly every area.
#### Interzone Relations
The Wild Zone exists mostly on its own and interacts little with the other zones. Indeed many other zones aren't even aware that it exist, and even those that do have little idea of what actually goes on within it.

### /b/ - Chaos Zone
#### Demographics
Populated by evil and virus digimon.
#### Geography
The Chaos Zone is filled with a roiling black ocean dotted with tiny rocky protrusions on which the only stable buildings reside.
#### Societylp

### /c/ - Idol Zone
#### Demographics
Filled with the showiest and cutest digimon and their adoring fans, the denizens this zone are highly varied. However the digimon at the top of the hierarchy are invariably those that garner the largest following, either for their aesthetic desirability or ability to perform. Entire cities are dedicated to groups of digimon, or even a single digimon if they become popular enough.
#### Geography
The phrase "all the world's a stage" is somewhat more literal in the case of the Idol Zone in that each every town and settlement is built around a central pavillion where the idols hold their performances.
#### Society
While the title of top Digimon is constantly shifting and impossible to pin down, one particular idol team consisting of a Ranamon, a Renamon, and a brace of Gatomon background dancers has remained near the top for quite some time, and have drawn particular notice.

### /d/ - Degenerate Zone
#### Demographics
The Degenerate Zone contains many corrupted, mutant, and virus type Digimon such as Numemon and Sukamon, and many distorted parodies of familiar Digimon. Additionally, many costume-type Digimon, such as Monzaemon or Etemon exist, however, their shapes are often horrendously distorted. Despite this horrific appearance though, most Digimon of the Degenerate Board are actually quite friendly, and are very helpful and welcoming to travelers or stranded Digimon, often even helping them get home.
A peculiarity contributing to the unpopularity of the Zone to explorers is the tendency for travelers to manifest with various unfamiliar sexual traits while there, and a penchant for developing new mutations that persist even should the Digimon return home. Such mutations are often easy enough to hide in polite company, but enforce a sort of perspective on the suffering Digimon that changes them forever, and can cause their gaze to linger on subjects no other Digimon would look twice at.
#### Geography
The Degenerate Zone takes the form of a large, sprawling, and labyrinthine set of damp tunnels, unconscionable fluids dripping down the walls, and unimaginable sounds echoing around every corner. Regular waves of effluence and worse flood portions of these tunnels, and creatures no digimon could claim the form of stalk the dark, violating whatever their tentacles may grip.
However, despite all of this, the Degenerate Zone alters a fundamental piece of any Digimon's core. Disgust is muted, pain is conflated with pleasure, fear with arousal. While second-hand accounts of the Zone are enough to inspire horror and terror, firsthand experience is often a dully unpleasant experience at worst, with ridiculous highs at best. Adding to this, the altogether benevolent and loving disposition of the locals im amplified as well. A Digimon visiting but for a few scant moments may feel as though they have met a true kindred spirit and comrade in their time in the Degenerate Zone.
Dominating the northern region of the Degenerate Zone is Lilithmon's palace, from where Lilithmon rules, and accesses the other Human Reproduction Research Zones. Lilithmon seldom graces the greater Degenerate Zone with her presence herself, as the depravity continues well enough without her presence, though on the rare occasion that she does, this visit is nearly always heralded by the generation of several new fetishes, each less sane than the last.
It is said that here, and only here, does Lilithmon's form break down to reveal the true depravity of her Digi-core. In any other Zone, she is comely, seductive, and feminine. Here, she is a voracious predator, perhaps echoed in those unspeakable creatures that stalk the dark.
#### Society
It is a noted fact that no native of the Degenerate Board knows how to read, and become infuriated when presented with the written word. This is known to be the only reliable way of angering denizens of the Degenerate Zone to violence, though, as befitting the types of Digimon that inhabit it, this violence is rarely actually dangerous, and is quickly forgotten.
#### Interzone Relations
The Degenerate Zone is the seat of new fetishes, and such often shares an exchange with them from the other Human Reproduction Research Zones. Usually this takes the form of these fetishes being banished to the Degenerate Zone, but every so often, a fetish generated or discovered by the Digimon of the Degenerate Zone will be exported and accepted.
Historically, this happened in ages past with the Elders Zone, with the collaborative work and development on one of the most crucial projects to the Digimon of the Clover Array of all time, the generation and spreading of Monstergirls to humans, a subject that has taken on a life of its own to the point that some suspect the data may even form its own Zone one day.
However, the Degenerate Zone itself is often considered too horrific for Digimon of other zones to gaze upon, and is thus rarely mentioned at all, except to comment on how disgusting it is. Only the most depraved or courageous digimon of other Zones venture to it. This has lead to the altogether benevolent demeanor of the Digimon of the Degenerate Zone being sadly rarely known.
The Degenerate Zone is also situated very near the Clover Array's Trash Filter, so some degree of cultural exchange is frequent and inevitable.

### /fit/ - Power Zone
#### Demographics
Here, none but the strongest survive. Within this land, the only way out is up; whether by hook or by crook, this is the crucible by which all Digimon are tested. Expect a large number of Champion-grade and higher here.
#### Geography
This land, known to some as the Desolate Kingdom, is fully inhospitable towards organic life. On close inspection, the ground appears to be made of a hot, pitch-black sediment that seems to sap heat from anything it comes into contact with. The air is thick with the residual data of the unfortunate Digimon who failed to thrive in this harsh land, but that is only to be expected.
#### Society
Brutality thrives here; there is no established heirarchy, barring the obvious. "If you are strong, you will survive. And you will continue to do so, until you fall in battle." Rudimentary tribes have formed within this zone, oft comprised of the weaker evolution stages who have had the misfortune of wandering here.
There are rumors that, during the rare quiet times in the zone, a fell wind blows through the plains of black sand, carrying with it a very faint "Hee Ho!"
These rumors have yet to be proven.
#### Interzone Relations
Very few Digimon deliberately travel here; only the brave and foolhardy alike make their way here to test their own power, only to find that, as is the case in the physical world, there will ALWAYS be someone stronger than them.
---
### /g/ - Source Zone
#### Demographics
The tech obsessed digimon of the Source Zone tend toward the machine or android type, though cyborg or other programmatically inclined digimon can be found here as well. Interestingly, there is also a sizable number of flightless bird digimon as well, although quite why is something of a mystery.
#### Geography
The digital fields of the Source Zone are a strange sight compared to most other parts of the Clover Array. While some sections appear to have an entirely natural appearance, this illusion is dispelled upon closer examination. The veins in the leaves of trees grow in grids like small solar cells, rocks contain circuit board geodes, and the soil itself is finely crushed silica. In more extreme areas enormous server towers dot the landscape, and even though digimon do live in many of them, the towers appear to be part of the landscape itself rather than constructions of their inhabitants.
#### Society
The worth of an individual in the Source Zone is almost entirely determined by how knowledgeable and skilled they are. This meritocratic system can appear hostile to outsiders as learning the bare minimum needed to function in the zone is considered a right of passage, and any digimon that ask basic questions are often answered with cryptic responses such as "Install gentoo" or "Delete system 32".
Digimon in the Source Zone tend for form an amorphous though loosely hierarchic collective rather than affiliating themselves into distinct groups. The top of this hierarchy is composed of the "greybeards", the oldest digimon in the zone and easily the most experienced.

### /h/ - Sex Zone `(Temp)`
#### Demographics
#### Geography
The Sex Zone is a blasted warzone, pockmarked with craters, and shrines to various fetishes. Propaganda circulates the war-torn streets, promoting one fetish, while decrying another.
The geography itself is often swept up in these fervant wars, taking on obscene shapes. Rock formations readily form parodies of the phallic or yonnic, and spew churning waters into oceans below. The hills themselves appear to rythmically move against one another, stony hands kneading grassy busoms, soil-laden tongues of earth caressing stern trees or root-bound sphincters.
#### Society
Digimon of the Sex Zone form various, close-knit, and near-religious cults to various types of human sexual activity. Nearly all of these tribes and cults are hostile in some way to each other. Temporary alliances may form, but the Sex Zone is generally an unending conflict between these groups as they vie for supremecy, and to declare eachother degenerate. Some of the major tribes include:
The Fellatio Convent: A serene, and sagacious group who have reached enlightenment, so they claim. They believe that the simple human act of attempting to ingest the phallus to be the most pure expression of sex imaginable, for what other way could the humans ingest eachother's data? Moreso than other cults, the Fellatio Convent truly believes that they are the sole correct voice in the Sex Zone.
The United Mammaries: A loose conglomerate of Digimon united in their adoration of the enlarged mammary gland and accompaning fatty tissues of the human female. While they agree on the subject of their adoration, they vary in the ideal form of it. Two major parties have formed, the Demoflats, who believe the breast should be small, sleek, and streamlined, and the Rebooblicans, who believe the breast should be large, fatty, and heavy. They argue endlessly over this, but solemnly agree that the Moderatits, who believe in a moderately sized breast, are not to be trusted.
The Pits of Defeat `(This is horrible, someone come up with a more clever way to refer to armpits and feet!)`:
A relatively new colony of digimon that appear to have come from between Zones only recently. They believe in extolling only the features Digimon themselves are capable of emulating, and as no digimon not exposed to humans has anything approaching genetalia, their subjects of worship are the armpits and feet. Their zeal is unmatched in the Sex Zone, to both the awe and the discomfort of the other tribes. They have no true enemies, as it is fairly agreed upon by the other tribes that no matter who is the most pure, this tribe is inarguably the least. This tends to lead to them being underestimated, and even infiltrating other cults with ease. The sect of the cult dedicated to feet in particular is known for their chieftan being a terrible artist.
The Matriarchy: A nomadic band of Digimon who believe they have managed to uncover a fundamental truth of human sexuality tied to the maternal quality of human females. They are above all known for their battle cry of "Gibe Milkies", that echoes over the horizon, hours before an attack. They are known to have a high council of digimon such as Angewomon and LadyDevimon (Though it is suspected that most of them are just Angemon and Devimon trying to move the group foreward) that make decicions for the group. Unfortunately, they often find themselves in a conundrum, as their underlings like being told what to do far more than they actually do as they are told. It takes many repititions of "good boy" to get most of their underlings to do much of anything. Occasionally, Lilithmon herself graces The Matriarchy, and these visits are known to spur a zeal capable of matching even The Pits of Defeat, and are the only reason anything gets done. They have a tenuous alliance with The United Mammaries, especially the Rebooblican party, though they believe that limiting this worship to merely the breast is heresy.
Assrica: (should this be merged with, or seperate from the anal tribe?)
The tribe of Assrica is a particularly war-torn region of the Sex Zone, largely due to its central location. Whenever there's a fight between distant tribes, Assrica always gets caught up in the middle. This isn't to say Assrica stays out of conflicts, however. Regardless of how damaged it might be, Assrica maintains a presence through regular raids of the other tribes. It has an unusual relationship with The United Mammaries; on the one hand, they are clear rivals, and their hatred for eachother knows no bounds. However, they also regularly team up with eachother when beset by other tribes. The details of this relationship aren't well documented, but the best guesses of scholars is a sort of begrudgung, mutual respect.
Tomboy/Musclegirl (Should this be merged with or seperate from a Trap tribe? Traps are traditionally /d/, but it might be more thematic)
#### Interzone Relations
The unending chaos and conflict of the Sex Zone makes it too harsh and obnoxious an environment for most other zones to deal with in any significant degree. Individual digimon frequent the Zone regularly as part of their "research" into human physiology, but tend to leave as soon as this work is complete, interracting as little as possible.
The Sex Zone has poor relations with the other Zones within Lilithmon's domain as they endlessly squabble over what content is deemed degenerate, almost as a macro-paralell to the squables that define the Sex Zone itself. It and the [/e/] Zone in particular have bitter conflicts that usually stem from the [/e/] Zone attempting to label a particular facet of human reproduction as too degenerate, and banishing it to the Sex Zone, while the Sex Zone will in turn label things as not intense enough and try to send them to the [/e/] zone, often resulting in the [/d/] zone accepting the refugees.

### /o/ - Wheel Zone
#### Demographics
Populated by many digimon with a need for speed, and especially those with more mechanical attributes.
#### Geography
The Wheel Zone is a tremendously large Zone, though most of this space is flat and undeveloped. These expanses are commonly put to work hosting great contests of speed in the Zone. Small, densly compact areas of civilization exist, almost universally dominated by garages, mechanic shops, interior decorators, and hangars.
#### Society
The digimon of The Wheel Zone are, as mentioned, defined by a need for speed, and thus is a digimon's rank and esteem within the Wheel Zone determined by their ability to attain speed, either by their own means, or in the creation and maintinance of devices to facilitate it. Except bikes. Fuck bikes.
Great competetions of various aspects worthy of rank are frequently held, both for fun and for determining rank. Any Digimon, of any Zone is free and welcome to participate, and even Digimon of other Zones are allowed to gain prestigious ranks if they are fast or savvy enough.
It should be noted that while the projected image of The Wheel Zone is generally considered well-mannered but competitive, this is most certainly not a simple case, as the Wheel Zone has a substantial presence of raiders and road warriors who help themselves to the speed enhancing components and weapons of those slower and weaker than themselves.
#### Interzone Relations
The Digimon of the Wheel Zone are a largely neutral lot, maintaining cool and detatched relations with most that are prone to wild and rapid shifts, with little internal angst. Their interest in maintaining machines means they have regular trade with the Range and Armor zones, though funadamental disagreements about the deployment and purpose of said machines prevent true friendship from blossoming. A Wheel Zone Embassy exists within the Melody Zone, lodged firmly in the depths of the Eurobeat Island.
Distressingly for many zones, The Wheel Zone is fairly friendly with the [/pol/] Zone, never passing up an opportunity to manufacture, rent, and sell raiding vehicles to [/pol/] zone raiders, on the sole condition that said raiders gas any bikes they come across.
The Wheel Zone respects any and all who can attain the speed or know-how necessary to gain rank in their great competitions, though this never seems to change the apparantly inherrant fickle and mercenary nature of the Wheel Zone.
In ages long passed, the greed tide of Goblimon and Ogremon hordes of the Elders Zone were regular visitors, and the only other Zone to reliably make rank, though like most things Elders-related, this fact has nearly faded from memory. Their crude banner and simple warcry is still remembered in the Wheel zone, but none truly recall the original source.

### /mu/ - Melody Zone
#### Demographics
#### Geography
The Melody Zone is crafted out of vast, accoustically graceful structures, both natural and manudactured. Grand cliffsides functioning as theatrical domes, caverns with layers of sound absorbing materials, skyscrapers arranged to echo music played on a single stage between them to sound as if it is played right within the ear of all inside these buildings; hardly a single piece of the Melody Zone is without audial significance.
One curious fact of the Melody Zone is that liquids interract very differently with sonic vibrations. Instead of merely rippling, liquids have a tendency to rise up into aquatic tendrils and ebb, flow, swell, and reform to the cascading waves of sound.
#### Society
#### Interzone Relations
The Melody Zone believes the denizens of the Moon and Highland Zones to be crass and uncultured swine. Besides this, however, the Melody Zone is mostly isolationist, interracting only when absolutely necessary, or when hired out to privide their craft.

### /pol/ - Tyrant Zone
#### Demographics
#### Geography
#### Society
The leader of the Tyrant Zone is a nebulous figure shrouded in mystery. Many theories surround their identity, but a prevailing one is that it is a Barbamon, a theory which has gained traction largely because of the hackles it raises within the Tyrant Zone.
#### Interzone Relations
The Tyrant Zone is almost universally despised within the Clover Array due to its constant hostile actions against most Zones. Even Zones that otherwise find common ground with the Tyrant Zone are often driven to disdain and annoyance by the constant intrusions and chaos that arises from it. Many Zones also resent the fact that the Tyrant Zone's brazen acts have tainted the entire Clover Array with their colors, despite disliking the Tyrant Zone themselves.
The only Zones with anything resembling positive relations with the Tyrant Zone are those Zones for whom the constant chaos suits their sensabilities, such as the Chaos Zone, those who see business in facilitating the Tyrant Zone's constant skirmishes, such as the Wheel Zone, or those who take the jester's approach and derive great humor from the Tyrant Zone's antics.

### /r9k/ - Apocalymon's Tesseract
#### Demographics
The only permanent denizen of the Tesseract is Apocalymon itself. Other digimon may visit to explore it, or become trapped there. Inevitably, if this Digimon does not leave quickly, its data is consumed, and nothing remains but another aspect of Apocalymon.
#### Geography
A vast, inky void, dominated by the looming figure of Apocalymon. occasionally, a chunk of some other landscape will float through, drawn inexorably towards Apocalymon, where it will be consumed. Eventually, all things will be so consumed, and this void will be truly empty, even of void itself. it is unknown if Apocalymon will begin to consume itself at that point, or if it will simply wait for the rest of eternity.
Directly beneath Apocalymon is a single island, covered in piles and piles of pizza boxes, filled with only crusts, and dominated by a single sink with running hot and cold water. It is unkown why Apocalymon cannot, or perhaps simply does not, delete this island as it does all else.
#### Society
As Apocalymon is the only permenant entity within the Tesseract, there is no real society to speak of. In the brief time between when stranded or adventerous Digimon lose themselves, and are devoured however, they universally fall in to a cycle of self-pitying nihilism that is a shade of Apocalymon itself. It's unknown if this is a form of corruption, or Apocalymon assuming control over their husks, but it is perhaps irrelevant, as they will invariably be drawn close to the dread form of Apocalymon and his lonely isle, and simply be unmade.
#### Interzone Relations
Most other zones are unaware of Apocalymon's Tesseract, perhaps hearing of it in a story from an old explorer, and usually with a mixture of sadness and fear that discourages further major exploration. Cursory explorations by curious Digimon may prove unsettling, but these do not even begin to scratch the surface of the true horror that lies beneath the surface.
For its part, Apocalymon despises all other Zones, and believes they despise it at least twice as much in return. Apocalymon seeks only to consume the rest of the Clover Array, and perhaps even beyond; whether to extend its own miserable existance or merely out of spite, none can say.
However, there are hushed wispers that Apocalymon occasionally accesses other Zones with a more innocuous intent. Such visitations are nearly universally heralded by the incantation "Femanon here". This seems odd, until you consider that other reports, from the stealthiest of explorers, claim to have witnessed Apocalymon gazing upon the [/u/] zone, while breaking down into wistful tears that spill over onto the island of old pizza boxes.

### /sp/ - Competition Zone
#### Demographics
#### Geography
#### Society
The digimon that inhabit the Competition Zone are pascifists that reject the idea of tradtional fighting and instead seek to establish dominance through scored competitions.
#### Interzone Relations
The natural pacifism of the Competition Zone immediately puts them at odds with Digimon more devoted to violence, such as the [/pol/] Zone, or Range Zone. Diplomatic trips to such zones in the interest of creating a non-violent competition often prove temporarilly successful, but seldom change the long term relations between Zones.
They have a natural and long-standing partnership with the Power Zone, and the bond between the two is among the strongest in the Clover Array. They also have generally positive relations with The Wheel Zone, but there is an ever present sense of contention within the Competition Zone itself as to whether vehicle-assisted races should be counted as a proper Competition.
---
### /tg/ - Elders Zone
#### Demographics
Populated by a diverse mix of Digimon, all of which are quite aged. It has high numbers of fairly recognizable Digimon, such as Greymon or Kabuterimon. A great many digimon of knightly or cybernetic demeanor can also be found here, as well as a full retinue of chessmon, styled for all manner of the disparate worlds within the Elders Zone. Additionally, there is a particularly obnoxious tribe of Goblimon and Ogremon with a penchant for green, crude speech, and theft. For unknown reasons, they are very beloved by the Elders Zone, and even outside into the wider Clover Array.
#### Geography
Like the Digimon that live there, there are a wide variety of environments that form a rough patchwork. However, most of these environments have been frozen at some moment; they never develop or progress. Sometimes this point is the moment of climax, others simply an idyllic backdrop. Many take the form of some feudal, militaristic world, though there is no true limitation. Of particular note is one exceptionally large area, set in a dark and grim future among the stars, with tendrils that penetrate far across the sea of the net, giving the Elders uncanny access to other Zones, albeit in a bizarre and often corrupted state. Though itself a thing of the past, the aforementioned Goblimon and Ogremon tribes were also known to come through these tendrils, and impart their special green charm, or "loot" whatever they could get their green paws on.
A peculiarity of the Elders Zone, is that no matter where or how a traveler intends to enter it, they are universally dropped into some sort of public house, bar, or tavern.
#### Society
The digimon of the Elders Zone are masterful storytellers that can regail a patient listener with the greatest of tales imaginable; however, there are only so many stories to tell, and thus, at some point, you will inevitably hear the same story multiple times, and while odds are good that you will continue to hear something new now and again, these instances will become rarer and rarer. It is not uncommon to experience a twinge of the sorrow the Elders themselves must feel, having heard all the great tales and knowing there are no more, though they perhaps are blissfully ignorant, or simply do not care that no new tales are being created in the same way a visitor might. For them, these tales of what once was, of lost and forgotten glory, and of a great empire none could hope to challenge, are all that matters. Most of these stories are of times long passed, the legends of the lands frozen before you, and of the digimon within.
The Elders also recount times when they would get together to perform all manner of great works and crusades into other Zones, though, nowadays it is hard to believe this, as the elders now mostly remain at home, and complain about younger digimon performing shitty works, and playing bad games. They are beset by the traditional ailments of old age, and will often ask the same questions repeatedly, never failing to be angered by the answer. The only works still created by the Elders Zone appear to be shortform prompts, apparently designed to envision a new life. These are notable primarily due to a great many of them ending up lost on the tides of the web, and getting clogged in the trash server.
It is easy to believe the stories heard in the Elders Zone as mere myth and legend, especially in that light, and in truth, a great deal of these stories are myth or hyperbole, or else have been distorted by the failing memory of the Elders. However, every once in a while, when a true friend of the Elders has been met (and when an Elder digimon remembers they even have it), the greatest treasure of the Elders zone will be shared. Sealed in a ruin some residents decry as exclusively for yung'uns, lies a sanctified data packet, known only as "Dungeons: the Dragoning 40,000 7th Edition". Of those who access this file, some are said to be stunned by the revelation of what has been lost, others to weep, for in that file is indelible proof that these stories aren't all myth, and the Elders really were once as great as they say, or even more.
#### Interzone Relations
The Elders Zone's relations, much like everything else about the Elders Zone, is steeped in such history that most is long forgotten. One thing that is known, is that one of the few Elders Zone crusades that is actually documented was one of the first major contacts and friendships with the Degenerate Zone. This relationship is sustained, though frayed by time, to this day, as the vast knowledge of unknowable worlds the Elders Zone possesses is greatly titillating to the Degenerate Zone, while the normally off-putting status of the Degenerate zone phases the adventurous and grizzled spirit of the Elders Zone far less than most.
Another ancient alliance exists between the [/co/] Zone. Though similarly weathered by time, there is not an Elder alive (And any Elder that doesn't recall this is no true Elder at all) who does not immediately, and automatically consider any of the [/co/] zone their Battle Brother.
More recently, actually near the dawn of memory for most other Zones, a brief crossing commenced with the Highland and Matter Zones. However, these friendships would be short lived, due to the energetic and volatile nature of the Highland Zone, and the Matter Zone irreparably slighting the Elder Zone's honor by blowing off social delagations for some human-world crossover event. This slight went into the Elder Zone's Book of Grudges, and the Matter zone may never be forgiven.
Beyond this, social exhange and contact has historically, and indeed, even still to this day, exists between the Range Zone, the Armor Zone, and the [/X/] Zone, though much like everything else, the status of these relations has decayed greatly.
The Elders Zone has historically maintained burning animosity towards The Chaos Zone and Friend Zone, as well as a very cool relationship with the Moon Zone, and those close to it. However, these rivalries have dulled with time, and are now nearly indistinguishable from the vague annoyance the Elders Zone appears to have for all young people when they aren't teliing them stories.
More recent relations are mostly ones of annoyance towards the Elders Zone, given the penchant Elders have for tunneling through the net and telling stories about the old days and their worlds to others, uninvited, but these tensions seldom rise above mere annoyance, as the occasional elder digimon of other Zones may also have a recollection of the old days, and feels sorrow for their once proud friend, shielding them and returning them home.

### /v/ - Highland Zone
#### Demographics
The Highland Zone is filled with digimon with a love for all things gaming and is one of the most populous of the Blue zones. Many of the digimon here are quite young, as most of the elder digimon have migrated to either the Elder or Arcade Zones.
#### Geography
A region of diverse topology and climate, any biome seen in the real world can be found here, as well as a great many that exist only in fantasy or science fiction. The zone also holds a fair number of regions that can only be described as abstract, containing structures and geography composed of little more than solid shapes with glowing edges and intricate patterns decorating their surfaces.
#### Society
The social structures of the Highland Zone are tumultuous and ever shifting. Affiliations break and renew by the day, and groups new and old are in a constant fight for supremacy. Often called the "Blue Chaos Zone", Highland is easily the Blue zone most prone to upheaval and upset. Unlike the real Chaos Zone however, this is not due to the nature of the zone itself, but rather the ever shifting sea of ideologies and allegiances of its digimon. A new idea can sweep through the community like wildfire, overtaking all existing dogma in but a day, but it can just as quickly become stale and reviled as the fickle standards of the digimon change.
Very recently, a massive war shook the foundation of the Highland zone forever, shattering it into many pieces that have yet to define themselves. This has of course happened in the past the Highland zone has many zones that have splintered off of it in the past, but this latest war seems to have taken some of the spirit from the Highland Zone. Many fear it has lost too much core data to sustain itself, and will slowly disintigrate into the Array.

### /vg/ - Castle Zone
#### Demographics
Like its parent zone Highland, the digimon here are as diverse as they come, and while slightly less populous it is still among the Blue zones largest. Due to the segregated nature of the Castle Zone's settlements, most digimon who live here will spend their entire lives within one castle, interacting little with those from the others.
#### Geography
Even though the land itself is largely barren, comprised mostly of great fields or endless tracks of wasteland, the most striking distinction of the Castle Zone is the vast array of castles, forts and citadels that dot its surface. Some of these fortresses are said to date back to the original exodus from the Highland Zone, and while most from that era lie in ruins, some continue to be inhabited to this day.

### /vp/ - Matter Zone
#### Demographics
Inhabitants of the matter zone tend toward the humanoid, though there are still a fair number of non-human digimon as well.
#### Geography
The shape of the zone is that of a reduced copy of the real world, though the proportions of landmasses are diminished or exaggerated according to the relative availability of the Net in those areas, with Europe and southeast Asia being much larger and Africa and central Asia appearing compressed.
#### Society
The fundamental goal of nearly all digimon living in the Matter Zone is to find a way to be closer to humans. Whether this is by drawing them into the digital world, finding ways to exist in the real world, or even the fantasy of becoming human themselves. The human form is king here and many of the most humanoid digimon have celebrity status among its people. This obsession with humanity has even reached the point that their society is structured in a itfacsimile of humankind's, with digimon living in nuclear families of father, mother and children rather than the more communal lifestyle that exists in most other zones. Most often these parents and children aren't even related and are simply younger and older digimon who have adopted family roles with one another.
#### Interzone Relations
The Matter Zone is something of an anomoly in the Array. Many, many zones have a familiarity with the stuff of the Matter Zone's obsession, but most are offput by the sheer degree of this obsession. Maybe have wondered how this Zone has not fallen to Lilithmon's domain, given how often the interest in humans turns towards sexuality. It thus tends to be ignored by much of the Clover Array, with occasional embassies being established in those Zones, rather than denizens of other zones visiting the Matter Zone.

### /vr/ - Arcade Zone
#### Demographics
Filled mostly with the older inhabitants who left the Highland and Castle Zones, the digimon here will often spend their time reminiscing on the old days and how the younger digimon lack skill and don't know how easy they have it.
#### Geography
The Arcade Zone is a pastiche of snippits of culture plucked from the human era known as "The 80's and 90's", reflecting the era when Digimon first made mass contact with humans in general. Anything that could be made cooler or more rad has already been so done.
It should be noted that unlike the vaguely similar layout of the Elders Zone, these areas are not frozen.
The Arcade Zone, perhaps by coincidence or by design, has lower rendering capabilities than other Zones; Digimon that finding themselves there are often compressed into either a sprite or low-poly form. While an interesting experience, this has no apparant effect on the abilities or capabilities of any digimon so affected.
#### Society
Digimon of the Arcade Zone are avid collectors of memorabilia of the era their Zone reflects. While they are mostly known for their games, any relics of this era are valued and fair game. Influence is granted based on knowledge and collections relevant to the era.
Arcade Zone Digimon will still get together to play their games on occasion. Their collections are only partially for looking at, and see regular use.
Arcade Zone Digimon are also noted for pushing boundaries in pursuit of a quality they refer to as "radical". They are also known for their stubbornness, an individual Digimon will almost never change over time.
#### Interzone Relations
Despite their codgerly ways, the Arcade Zone isn't seen with the same annoyance as the Elders Zone, and is in some ways considered a more sane, stable, and idealized version of what the Highland Zone should be. Digimon of the The Arcade Zone are generally friendly and welcoming, though they can be condescending and elitist when pushed.
The Arcade Zone has a tumultuous relationship with the Highland and Castle Zones, united in interests, but divided in personality. The Arcade Zone is more fond of the Highland Zone and Castle Zone than either is of it.
The Arcade Zone has a solid friendship with The [/co/] zone.
### /q/ - Mootdrasil's Palace
#### Demographics
The Palace of Mootdrasil, a mysterious digital entity that is said to have carved out the Clover Array in times before memory.
Mootdrasil is a massive cloverlike tree, though, back when it still presided over the Clover Array, it could appear anywhere, at any time, but always in the form of a small, humanoid girl. Sometimes this form would be styled to the Zone it appeared in, others not, but it was always unmistakable, any Digimon witnissing Mootdrasil knew it instinctivly in their core, and even the most unruly fell in line.
Mootdrasil's Companions, which may have numbered in the dozens, the hundreds, or counted on one's fingers, nobody can say for sure, resided within the palace as well, managing issues and conveying information to Mootdrasil.
However, It was suddenly sealed many years ago, with no Digimon knowing how to gain access. While it can be assumed Mootdrasil and His closest followers and monks yet live within the palace, there is no way of knowing for sure.
#### Geography
Mootdrasil did not construct this palace immediately, preferring to wander from Zone to Zone, coexisting with the Digimon of the Clover Array. Its construction only came about as a means to organize those seeking to directly contact Mootdrasil, whether to beseech it for help, report a disaster occuring in a Zone, and so on; thus, perhaps surprisingly, the interior of the palace looked shockingly like a help desk. A grand, ornately decorated help desk, but a help desk all the same, furnished with the great offices of secretaries, with the great clover form of Mootdrasil at all times visible.
#### Society
Memories of the palace recall the help-desk like nature of the Zone's demeanor to outsiders, but very little is known of the inner workings of it, even more so since it mysteriously sealed.
#### Interzone Relations
As the presumed resting place of Mootdrasil, his Palace is still regarded as a sactified place. Some seek to commit iconoclasm against it, proclaiming Mootdrasil dead, or a traitor, or other things, however even these acts of anarchy reveal an underlying respect for what once was. However, this awe and memory is all that remains. The Palace is sealed. Some Digimon proclaim to have seen Mootdrasil's phantom at one point or another, but are rarely believed. All that this palace was is now mere memory.
### /qa/ - The Hirophant's Palace
#### Demographics
Some time after the sealing of Mootdrasil's Palace, a Digimon calling itself the Hirophant appeared. It claimed to be the successor to Mootdrasil, and fittingly constructed its own palace in the same style.
#### Geography
Much like records of Mootdrasil's palace state, The Hirophant styled its palace after a help desk. However, a seat of anarchy soon took its place there instead. While technically used to contact The Hirophant, the help desks are usually a chaotic mess of squabbling Digimon and roiling energies.

## The Clover Array
### Overview
The state of relations between the digimon living in each zone of the Clover Array is as complex and storied as their societies. Some view each other as friends, and others take offense at the mere existance of those living in other zones. Broadly, zones can be divided into two groups: the Blue Zones, or those controlled by the divine agents of order, and the Red Zones, those controlled by the Demon Lords.
While relations between Red and Blue zones are nearly always antagonistic, the relations within each group are less predictable.
### Trade and Economy
Both Red and Blue zones maintain common currencies, with the Blue zones' "memes" and the Red zones' "sauce".
Memes are strange in that their value is never fixed. Instead, the value of a meme is determined by its "liveliness", an ever changing metric that functions on a logic incomprehensible to any other than perhaps God itself. It is not a currency to be hoarded, for if a meme exists for too long it may eventually reach the point of becoming "dead" wherein it possesses no value at all. It is thought that this arcane system of value was designed so that no digimon may ever be tempted to hoard wealth, but ultimately the reason for their function is known only to those that created them.
Sauce likewise is a curious commodity due to the fact that it is neither solid nor discrete, and instead exists as a fuming pinkish purple liquid. Held in vials or flasks, sauce is valued due to its nature of leading the owner to whatever their hearts or loins desire. While this does consume the sauce, it is readily replenished, for sauce is not exchanged in the traditional sense but rather shared. When a digimon wishes to purchase something, they simply agree to share their sauce with the merchant. This act does not diminish the sauce of the sharer, but it does add to the sauce of the recipient. The expectation of sauce is that sauce should be shared freely, and that even those beggars who lack any should be provided some when they ask politely.
