## Intentions for hte nexte 20 minutes

## Solutions to known problems

### Positioning & Setting height/width of HTML panels

Ah this is a feature that I added early on, but wasn't sure whether to develop it further. IIRC it works as follows:
The numbers represent the coordinates of the upper-left corner,
and lower-right corner of the panel. 

The syntax is "x1 y1 x2 y2" (no commas)
x1 = upper-left direction
y1 = upper-left inclination
x2 = lower-right direction
y2 = lower-right inclination

The values are all clock-style numbers for direction and inclination as 
would be used in "direction:" and "inclination:" parameters.

### Audio Files

- must be mp3 files
- mp3 files must **also** provide a CORS header. Solution is same as for images (see below)... or, if you have nowhere to post the files... let me know, I might be able to work something out.
- Once you have a real mp3 file somewhere on the web,
- first, try to just add it with this syntax: `~~https://host/and/path/tofile.mp3~~`
- second, if that doesn't work, use my `cors-anywhere` server: `~~https://hackinghistory:9090/https://host/and/path/tofile.mp3~~`
- third, if neither of htos weork... I cna maybe fix yr problem. email me

### Images

**Most problems with images have to do with the CORS HEADER PROBLEM**
Remember this passage from the asignment

As described in the [`readme` file for reach](https://github.com/UofTMADLab/reach-dist/blob/master/README.md), your images need to be stored on a server that [provides a "CORS HEADER"](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS). This can be frustrating. One of your peers has discovered that [images hosted on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/) work fine. While you can also serve images from glitch or Github Pages as suggested i n the readme, imgur is probably easier!

However: there's an easy way to fix this. I have a [CORS Anywhere](https://github.com/Rob--W/cors-anywhere) server running here: https://hackinghistory:9090/ . It will add a cors header to any URL that is passed through it. So for instance, if you actually want the image https://freepages.rootsweb.com/~victorianphotographs/family/pl51part/pl51-37c.jpg

just prepend this to your url: https://hackinghistory.ca:9090/

To make: https://hackinghistory.ca:9090/https://freepages.rootsweb.com/~victorianphotographs/family/pl51part/pl51-37c.jpg
