# Yggdrasil and using it for VNC- Installing in Windows

## Overview

[Yggdrasil](https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/) is an early-stage implementation of a fully end-to-end encrypted IPv6 network. It is lightweight, self-arranging, supported on multiple platforms and allows pretty much any IPv6-capable application to communicate securely with other Yggdrasil nodes. Yggdrasil does not require you to have IPv6 Internet connectivity - it also works over IPv4.

## Install

## Configure

The Yggdrasil installer will automatically generate an `yggdrasil.conf` configuration file, if one does not exist, follow the above instructions

**Step 1:** Download and Install **yggdrasil-0.3.15-x64.msi** from [github](https://github.com/yggdrasil-network/yggdrasil-go/releases)
**Step 2:** Open Run command windows (Press Windows icon + R button )
**Step 3:** Type `cmd`
**Step 4:** Paste the command `%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Yggdrasil\yggdrasil.conf`


**Step 5:** It opens **`yggdrasil.conf file`** or find it in the directory `(C:\ProgramData\Yggdrasil\yggdrasil.conf)`


**Step 6:** Add `Peers: ['tcp://pantoto.net:1194']` and save it


**Step 7:** To Restart Yggdrasil go to Task Manager click on the “Services” tab


**Step 8:** Install [VNC Viewer](https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/) and Enter a VNC Server address `[203:8b0b:5f3e:b859:c36:efdf:ab6e:50cc]`


**Step 9:** Enter username and password


**Step 10:** Your PI is ready to access
