# Sustainability Development Goals and ESG ### How the Digital Gold Mining impacts the world? Thanks to its regenerative by design model, by replacing traditional gold mining with **Digital Gold Mining**, carbon emissions from gold extraction are avoided. Direct CO² emissions from this sector are estimated to be around 125 million tons per year.
