Fall 2022

1. Chorro Creek Dog Leg Reference Profile Geophysical Surveys

The Chorro Creek Dog Leg Reference Profile (CCDL-RP) is defined as an electrical resistivty profile:

  • 28 electrodes at 2-meter spacing (54 meters total)
  • Electrode 1 (E1) at coordinate (35.339390,-120.768990)
  • From E1 to E28 follow a strike of
    340

Array style is variable. Other geophysical surveys (even non-electrical) that are not this exact length can then be referenced to this.

A. Vertical Electrical Sounding

  • Tue 2022-09-27 with saltwater and tinfoil.
  • Thur 2022-09-29 w/o saltwater and tinfoil.
  • A set of minimal field notes. Your own field notes should be more detailed. This profile is centered at the center of the "Reference Profile"

B. Electrical Resistivity Tomography 2D

  • 2022-10-04 CCDL2D Reference Profile 2D ERT with Dipole-Dipole Strong-Gradient array style.
  • 2022-10-06 CCDL Reference Profile 2D ERT with Schlumberger Inverse array style.
    • ZIP file containing entire download from the SuperStingR8
    • Field notes: exactly the same as the 2022-10-04 survey (CCDL2D) just above, except used a Schlumberger Inverse array style.

C. Electrical Resistivity Tomography "2.9D"

  • Looks like we will not collect this - but we have some previous data.

D. Seismic Refraction Survey

Chorro Creek Reference Profile (overlap):

2. Brizziolari Creek Refraction Survey

3. Vintage Ranch / Rinconada Fault

  • Data file and field notes for the 2022-10-15 2D ERT survey over the fault contact separating sandstone and shale from Salinian Block granites

4. Swanton Pacific Ranch

multiple surveys will be collected

Fall 2021

Chorro Creek

  • F21 Chorro Creek Dog Leg Reference-Profile ZIP file. In F21 the "reference profile" is similar to the F22 version, but is 28 electrodes at 2-meter spacing (54-meters total length). Electrodes were not "juiced"
  • F21 Chorro Creek Dog Leg pseudo3D ZIP file. ZIP file containing field notes and four parallel 2D lines. One of the four lines is the same as the F21 2D ERT CCDL Reference Profile. EarthImager3D can combine these into a (pseudo)3D inversion. Electrodes were not "juiced".
