# Hyperledger Community Ambassador
# Job Brief
You will be working as an **"Hyperledger community ambassador"** for Soramitsu. As such you will be the face of Soramitsu when interacting with [Hyperledger](https://www.hyperledger.org/), as well as the wider Open Source community.
You will be responsible for defending the interests of Soramitsu as the main developer of Hyperledger Iroha, as well as ensuring a healthy interest in the project from both Hyperledger, the contributor community and potential clients.
Your job will require a wide array of technical and soft skills, management and creative writing being among the most important. You shall work closely with both the Iroha 1 and Iroha 2 teams, ensuring smooth operation and interoperability with other Hyperledger projects (e.g. [Cactus](https://www.hyperledger.org/use/cactus)), as well as collate and formalise feedback from the Technical Steering committee (TSC), first-time contributors to Iroha 1 and Iroha 2 as well as users of Open Source products developed by Soramitsu.
You will also be creating a presence of Iroha 2 and subsequent iterations of the ledger online, through blog posts, fora, articles and whatever means deemed necessary.
# Responsibilities
- Liaise with Hypeledger TSC
- Serve as a bridge between developers and users
- Using analytics and reports to discover insights and drive communications strategy
- Building and administering a Discord community with an international presence
- Co-ordinate Open Source software contributions from Iroha 1 and Iroha 2 communities, including testing, ensuring that legal requirements are met, matintaining good communication, being diplomatic with first-time contributors.
- Provide technical support for Iroha 1 and Iroha 2 users (internal and external).
- Represent Soramitsu at Hyperledger, defending the interests of Iroha 1, Iroha 2 and participating in the largest capacity possible.
- Advertise the technical progress of the project to including but not limited to the Open Source software community, Hyperledger TSC, proprietary projects using either of the Soramitsu products.
- Provide and accumulate feedback from Hyperledger TSC, the Open Source contributors, users of Iroha 1, Iroha 2 and other projects.
- Lend your technical expertise as necessary to Iroha 1, Iroha 2 and supporting technologies.
# Skills
- Experience of managing an Open Source project (4 years min)
- Experience of attending and organising events/conferences/presentations (4 years in an official capacity)
- Experience running deploying and maintaining complex code bases (systems administration/DevOps 4 years min, 7 preferred)
- Proven track record of creative writing on technical subjects and blockchain (preferred).
