## Volunteer self-introduction

## Idea Proposal

### Idea We Alread Have

- [JoJo] Road broadening. It takes a lot of labor to analyze traffice accidents. Can we try to develop automatic systems for the analysis?
- [Thomas] Use data analysis for stock market.
- [Ting-Yu] Music and audio analyzer. Also action detection.
- [Johnny] Synthesized music

- Am interested in working with people.
- [yuko] Plan to work on some small tools that may only be a one-person project. Is it OK?
- Yes. We can bring our works to the event and share to people.
- [HW] Data science applications to solve real-world problems.
- Use OpenCV to detect finger movement and interact with images.
- [YH] Use Python QT to developed a radio player in 3 days. But Python QT is not easy to maintain. The code base does not look clear.
- I am interested in learning more about how to modularize.
- I am interested in making the project a talk to share.
- [PL] I am going to use QT too. Hope to talk more with YH.
- I did a LINE bot earilier this year. It can download youtube videos.
- Unity is also interesting.
- Game development is oftentimes a dream of CS students.
- [Jenny] Experienced challenge when finding out conflict during system integration.
- Communication and alignment are important in technical development.

### New Idea:

- [yuko, sophi] Invite web project members to share experiences.
- Workpress, more backend, frontend themes etc.
- [Jenny] Kaohsiung Medical University may be interested in collaborating with us on web development.
- [Jenny] Industrial work experience sharing.
- It is uncertain what to do after graduation. What can a software engineer do in "real world"?
