30 Jul 2020 | Today we discussed about the skit (beti bachavo, beti padaavo and women empowerment) like who's idea was it? How did you come with this sort of climax? Who wrote the song? What sort of issues did they face, while practicing and recording skit? It was a good discussion, girls openly explained the reason why they selected thess topics for skit. Munni sang 2 songs |
31 Jul 2020 | This call was with local girls through Khushboo's mobile (basic phone) The activity was: "Agar Main Ladka Hoti" (What is that you are not able to do just bcoz you are a girl). It triggered really good discussion |
05 Aug 2020 | Started with a game Antakshari.Recorded songs. We have explained upcoming activities(cooking and dance) to girls. We have asked girls to form groups for dance activity and estimate expenses for tailoring or parlour materials.Started conversation on Menstrual health. Girls spoke about basic infrastructure problems such as proper roads. They spoke about water shortage issue |
13 Aug 2020 | Started with a game. Started learning English words (we have decided to learn 5 new english words in every meeting. Shared pictures of crafts done by Madhu. Spoke about Krishna Janmashtami. Recorded songs by Sonam, Priyanka. Girls expressed their ambitions |
17 Aug 2020 | Neha went with her colleague(Bablu) who is good at singing and skit performance, Girls sang a song with Bablu.Introduced 5 English words as decided in last meeting. Asked to write a short intro including their interests, hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, talent and education background. Made 5 groups each consisting 4 girls. Showed them bottle packer made by banana jondu(dindu) and asked them to let us know if they have such hobbies or if they have anything such as handmade things |
19 Aug 2020 | We recharged Khushboo’s phone to have call. Sonam kumari (who wants to be an actress) delivered few dialogues. Sonam Bharathi can speak good english but she is not interested to teach others. Vandana said she teaches online classes from 1st to 8th std. Vandana can stitch clothes from scratch. –Vandana(Tailor) and Nandini(dancer) both formed a group to participate in the activity of combining tailor, beautician and dancer. They are checking for a stitching machine and they will come up with all the expenses by the next meeting–-.Then all the girls wanted to learn english so we learnt a few words with them. Akanksha spoke well in english. NOTE: we need to know what platform Vandana used to teach online. Which school. Which subject and all. |
27 Aug 2020 | Girls shared their crafts: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dnpJlFJGxQxka2PoFdgKz_pZeJtdrl-e . Girls formed groups for Activity: Dance combining with Sewing and Makeup, Songs have been shortlisted.Akansha and Mahima expressed they are good at making photo frames and bangles/bracelets and they can train other girls on this, and all other girls expressed their willingness to learn this skill and they also wanted to sell these things in Mela, in marriages or to their friends in school (if and when schools reopen).At a later stage we will speak about selling them online or offline. And to reduce cost maintaining quality. |
