PyCon HK 2022 Review/Suggestions

The following review/suggestions will be considered by officers/volunteers of the next PyCon HK conference.

General

Program

  • Start time on eventbrite should be started from the reception time (eg. 9:30 instead of 10:00)

Venue

  • Will Science Park more tech feeling than HKFYG Building ?

Operation

  • could be better to have a operation host for each track to handle query from participant/speaker

Production

  • more communication need to better estimate time for move in
  • safer to assume ~4 hrs of move-in and setup for production equinment

Date: 8-9 October 2021, Friday - Saturday. Alternative: 25-26 June 2021, Friday - Saturday. Registrations Student - FREE for Full-time Students and Academics Requirement: Post a pre-event sharing on social network (a photo) with hashtag and link to pycon.hk to apply for a student access. Regular - HKD 100 to access live conference on Zoom.
