#### What is your greatest achievement?
Zabbix migration from 3.4 to 4.0 in centos
1. Tell me about a time when you were faced with a challenging situation. How did you solve it?
* During Zabbix migration from 3.4 to 4.0 in centOS, we took the backup of Zabbix - server, agent and MySQL conf files & PHP files. We got an error when we tried to upgrade using the yum upgrade command "No packages found to update". We found that there was an issue with cache repository files. We cleared the cache using the "yum clean all" command. Then we upgraded to the latest version successfully.
3. Do you usually set goals at work? If yes, could you give me an example of a goal you had and how you achieved it?
* I set goals to complete the assigned task within SLA and Identify the area where we can deploy .
* I assigned with a task of AD user and group addition where i did it using Python script.
5. Give me an example of a time you made a mistake at work.
* Once i created a user mailbox with wrong OU so user was getting different location emails. Then we raised a CR to change the correct OU
7. Have you ever faced conflict with a coworker? How did you resolve the situation?
* When my coworker's task, reassigned to me without any information (progress status of the task)about it. This event made conflict between us. We both had one-on-one discussion about this incident and completed the task.
9. Tell me about a time when you handled the pressure well.
* When POS service was down in one machine, no one received alert about POS service down eventually it made revenue loss for customer due to transaction failure.
* All the respective team were connected in conference and I was involved in troubleshooting this issue and found that the issue was with port so it got resolved by changing firewall rule.
11. Was there a time when you had to be very strategic in order to meet a goal?

* I took an initiative to deploy New tax software using SCCM, I prepared documentation for plan, deployment and user guidance. Completed the task.

* Apart from my regular duties, I was involved in the POC of in-house system management software, for which I collaborated with other teams who were giving support for this software to collect more details about its features and challenges. Later we compared this data with SCOM, SCCM, Nagios, and Solarwinds and submitted the report for management decisions.

* A business unit wants us to deploy the Tableau Desktop to over 50 users which we did it through SCCM but then at first launch the user has to click to activate and enter their license. we don't have a volume license. Each user has their own license.So we sent an email with documentaion about how to launch and activate their license.
* But the wanted us to do automate it with license details so user doesn't have to do anything on it.

#### DHCP Failover feature deployment
DHCP failover deployed on Windows 2016 server to ensure Disaster recovery
`Prior to enabling failover feature:`
DC1: 50% of the scope
DC2: 50% of the scope
In case of DC1 failure, only 50% of the scope at DC2 available for assigning IP address to Clients. Few clients did not get IP and have network access issues
`After enabling failover feature:`
Both DCs own 100% of the scope and were in sync about the address lease.
#### Logrotate issue
Application Issue faced and server was down and not reachable by SSH.
Server console was accessed through iLO to analyze the issue.
Found the disk was almost full.
On verification, it was found that log files were not rotated hence the disk size was fully utilized.
logrotate service was down. The configuration file found to have wrong configuration lines. The configuration was amended and old logs were manually purged to resolve the issue.
#### Application issues due to NTP client not in sync
An application which authenticates clients based on certificates was down. Client authentication was failing and the clients were not able to update data to the server.
On troubleshooting, it was found that the ntp client in the server was not synchronizing time from the NTP server. Firewall rules were mistakenly enabled on the outbound direction. Firewall rules were supposed to be enabled only on the inbound direction.
Firewall rules issue was corrected to resolve the issues.
