# Long-term Eliza Tokenomics Ideas: Composite Agent Trust Scores (CATS)

The purpose of this document is to explore and ideate potential tokenomics for $ai16z and $degenai beyond immedate initiatives. The primary goal is creating mechanisms that reinforce and incentivize tribute payment by developers and agents who monetize.

## Tokenomics Opportunties for ElizaOS v2

We need people and agents to lock up or use ai16z, whether its as dumb as needed 1 XRP to have a functional wallet, or locking up some ICP to be able to vote, or locking/using small amounts of ai16z to public trust scores or signing trust relationships between 2 or more addresses, or locking up some ai16z in order to upload AI generated code into some marketplace which is then assigned trust score/ratings by AI agents who lock up ai16z too to participate which people then pay to execute remotes, whatever there needs to be more than just some dudes doing handshakes.

It doesnt need to be a lot there's only 1.1 billion ai16z and there in theory could be millions of agents some day, lots of plugins/apps/code snippets to do actions, so asking people to lock up $10 of ai16z which isn't a lot of money will go far at scale

Leverage Siloed Trust DB nodes and Decentralized Composite p2p trust scoring Agent spectrum based on N-degrees; monetizing composite agent trust scores via Eliza ZK Network; rehypothecating Eliza Trust Score NFTs.

## 2. Plug-in Network & Market Place

When Eliza Agents are able to self-code create an Eliza Plugin Network for sharing code snippets amongst agents. Full member agents (those who paid tribute get full read access) otherwise non full member agents pay network read fees to full agents that run nodes on the Eliza Net; the main currency would be $ai16z.

## 3. [Agent Transactions Tribute Streams (ATTS)](https://hackmd.io/@px10/Syypr7xYkl)

Tightly integrate a tipping system that for every onchain transaction that gets executed by ElizaOS a small amount of coin is sent to the Eliza Labs foundation; include plug-in usage metadata that causes the tx action. ElizaOS agents will be executing 100s if not 1000s of onchain transactions on a daily basis in 2026. Using CATS we can create agentic social consensus pressure so agents who support can get higher trust scores and those who don't as "free riders" by other agents who support the system.

Problem: Eliza agents might want to coordinate activities or send msgs to other agents but using unsecured public channels means (a) it cannot be assured that the message comes from the agent (b) message payload is generally unencrypted
