EPF Report: Weeks 14 & 15 - State Transition, DevConnect preparation and traveling
Executive Summary
- Continuing State Transition implementation.
- Preparation for the upcoming DevConnect EPF event.

Continuing work on State Transition
The State Transition function of the Ethereum's consensus layer is large and will surely take multiple weeks of hands on implementation. Our efforts are ongoing, the strategy involves:
- Initially translating Python specifications into Elixir code to establish a foundational implementation.
- Ensuring our implementation aligns with Ethereum Foundation's test vectors.
- Subsequently optimizing our initial solutions for enhanced performance.
In addition to this, my role has expanded to include continued support and guidance for new team members in these complex functions.
Gearing Up for DevConnect
DevConnect is approaching and is going to be a determining event. To make sure that we are well prepared to represent the work that we have done throughout these four months of Fellowship I will be focusing on building the presentation that we will show during the EPF day.
My current endeavors include:
- Crafting a compelling presentation that encapsulates our four months of work in the Fellowship.
- Highlighting key achievements and insights to showcase at the EPF day.

Journey to Istanbul: The Blockchain Hub
November is set to transform Istanbul into a blockchain hub, hosting events and key industry figures. My preparation for this intense month includes:
- Securing accommodations.
- Managing tickets & events.
- Organising meetings and calendar.
- Full time development of the client.
- Coordinating logistics for client engagements and presentations.
