Macau's gaming industry employs about double the number of people working in the country's public administration, official data shows.
Macao had a total of 58,123 gaming workers in the second quarter of 2015, 57,422 of whom were full-time, according to a quarterly survey by the Macao Bureau of Statistics and Census.
