# 2022年臺灣街景踏查團-第二次編輯工作坊心得感想

對，你沒看錯，上次是[第一次的街景踏查團](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/s8321414/diary/399202)，但這次是第二次的編輯工作坊，至於為什麼不是第一次的編輯工作坊，嗯……說來話長，還是不要在這邊寫好了XD，看上次的日記或許可以看出一點端倪，或者在聚會時與我們聊聊。

總而言之，繼上次的街景踏查團 ~~（公費旅行團）~~ 後，[開放街圖臺灣社群](https://osm.tw/)（OpenStreetMap 臺灣社群）在2022年5月22日於[摩茲工寮](https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5773168030)舉辦了用來編輯街景踏查團蒐集到資料的[工作坊](https://osm-tw.kktix.cc/events/streetview-workshop-2)。由於台灣疫情因素，導致實體活動的參與人數銳減，也同步影響這次第二次工作坊出席人數。不過仍然有兩位地理老師來到現場。

首先進行了 OpenStreetMap 與 Wikidata 的簡介（同場加映 [Mapillary](https://www.mapillary.com/app) 與 [KartaView](https://kartaview.org) 以及其他維基媒體專案的介紹），然後主持人之一的 [Supaplex](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Supaplex) 現場示範利用踏查團拍攝的 Mapillary 360 影像在 OpenStreetMap 繪製位於新店央北重劃區內的[超商門市](https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9760911234)，以及從 Mapillary 下載照片並上傳至[維基共享資源](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Iangbei_Social_House_20220424.jpg)，並在 Wikidata 上新增[新北市青年社會住宅](https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q112108750)的新項目。

隨後開放現場參與者自由編輯以上提到的網站內容，編輯過程中也發現了一些與 360 照片相關的問題，例如維基共享資源必須另行加入 [`{{pano360}}`](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Pano360) 模板才能完整辨識 360 相機所拍攝的照片，以及 KartaView 在上傳 360 照片時必須在上傳指令加上一些選項才能讓其正常辨識。

我們預期要再調整講解難度與減少講解內容，偏向更為實作型的教學，有問題再提出來。前面講師簡單講完本次任務後，多位資深編輯手把手協助新手完成工作事項。

我們也歡迎隨時線上運用四月踏查成果，看街景圖在電腦上添加看到的商家或是住宅建案。台灣數一數二的重量級貢獻者 [littlebtc](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/littlebtc) 工作坊當天不克前來，則是增加完成央北重劃區的建案，以及後續央北二期的計畫道路繪製工作。

### 關於聯盟補助

2021年第四季時，[維基媒體基金會](https://wikimediafoundation.org/)公佈了新的補助方案：[維基媒體聯盟補助](https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Alliances_Fund/zh)，這項補助會資助與維基媒體計畫有關的專案，但並非由各地的維基媒體自治體提出的提案。

### 關於 OpenStreetMap 臺灣

OpenStreetMap 臺灣由台灣關心投入 OpenStreetMap 的編輯者構成，自從 2010 年開始由個人獨自編輯變成集結更多人參與的共編地圖專案的在地社群。目前在台灣有在台北與 Wikidata 社群共同舉行 OpenStreetMap x Wikidata 月聚，以及不定期的踏查活動。

Yes, you heard it right. It’s about the 2nd mapping workshop. Shouldn’t it follow by the very first workshop, since the last article is about the first expedition? Let’s not get bogged down with the series ordinal, that’s another story for another time lol. Some say that it's possible to notice from the last article, and we can chit-chat about it physically at the next meetup if some insist... ~~All we know is, it’s not called the Stig!~~

In brief, [OpenStreetMap Taiwan Community](https://osm.tw/)（OSMTW） utilised data collected from surveying in the [2nd mapping workshop](https://osm-tw.kktix.cc/events/streetview-workshop-2) at the [MozTW Space Taipei](https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5773168030) after the ~~junket tour~~ maiden survey expedition. Overserved physical attendance has dropped due to the recent increasing communities infections of the Coronavirus Omicron variant. Be that as it may, the workshop warmly welcomes two enthusiastic geography teachers to join.

The workshop begins with introduction of OpenStreetMap and Wikidata ([Mapillary](https://www.mapillary.com/app) and [KartaView](https://kartaview.org) and other Wikimedia projects also). [Supaplex](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Supaplex), one of the hosts, then demonstrated 1) a live edit on creating a [convenience store node](https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9760911234) in the Yangbei Redevelopment zone on OpenStreetMap, using Mapillary 360 imagery taken in the last expedition; 2) reuploading photos from Mapillary to [Wikimedia Commons](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Iangbei_Social_House_20220424.jpg) and 3) creating Wikidata item, [New Taipei City Youth Social Housing](https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q112108750) (新北市青年社會住宅).

Afterwards, on-site participants start to edit the website as mentioned freely. Some problems related to 360-degree images were also found during the editing process. For example, to let Wikimedia Commons fully recognise the photos taken by the 360-degree camera, the [`{{pano360}}`](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Pano360) template must be added. To the same extent, some arguments must be included while uploading 360-degree photos to make KartaView recognise them correctly.

OSMTW will tweak our workshops to a more practical approach by optimising the task difficulty and minimising detailed instructions. After a short briefing by the host, senior mappers were to assist neophytes with their tasks and edits.

Needless to say, all edits with applying our April survey outcomes are welcomed. Add a business or residential construction project by referencing the street view anytime and anywhere. Regrettably, [littlebtc](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/littlebtc), one of the heavyweight contributors in Taiwan, could not attend the workshop. Still, he contributed edits on completed constructions and the planned road network for the second phase of redevelopment in the Yangbei Revedelopment Zone.
