Dear OSC Delft members,

Happy new year! We hope you've enjoyed a somewhat relaxing Winter break.

**Opportunities**
- Do you have an idea that will help advance open science in your community? The NWO launched the Open Science Fund to support your idea with max 50,000EUR! [Read this blog post](https://openworking.wordpress.com/2021/01/06/nwo-open-science-fund-support-for-tu-delft-applicants-and-grantees/) to find out how TU Delft can help you with your application, contact Emmy (email retracted) if you would like to discuss an idea. Application deadline is *April 1, 2020*.
- Would you like to learn more about open science with a fantastic commmunity of like-minded researchers? [Apply to join OLS-3](https://openlifesci.org), a mentoring and training programme for open science ambassadors (it's not only for life scientists). *Application deadline is Jan 11, 2020*.

- [Recognition and Reward Festival](https://www.recognitionrewardsfestival.com/121708), Jan 22, online, 18EUR - the Dutch Recogition & reward programme discusses the current status of programme a year after launching their position paper "Room for Everyone’s Talent".

- Plan S Ask-me-anything sessions - beginning 2021, funders who support [Plan S](https://www.openaccess.nl/nl/in-nederland/plan-s) worldwide, including NWO, will adopt new open access publishing mandates for their grantees. In these sessions, Just de Leeuwe (Publishing advisor, TU Delft library) will explain how this may impact your publishing strategy and answer your questions.

**Big changes to OSC Delft**

First - a warm welcome to our new members: *Giorgio (AE), Adriaan (CEG), Agnes (AE), Ahmed (3mE), Martijn (AS) and Najiba (comms)* :sunflower:
