# Fulham fan taunted with condescending look after Arsenal win

It's the greatest expression ever.

"Fulham fans taunted Arsenal after Mikel Arteta's side suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats for the first time this season with a 2-1 loss at Craven Cottage," the Daily Mail reported on Jan. 1 (local time).

Fulham came from behind to win 2-1 against Arsenal in the 20th round of the 2023/24 English Premier League (EPL) at Craven Cottage in London, England, on Jan. 1 (local time).

Arsenal scored first. In the fourth minute of the first half, Martinelli dribbled in from the left flank, cut into the center of the box, and curled in a shot. Leno made a great diving save, but the second ball found Xhaka to make it 1-1.

But Fulham would not be deterred. In the 28th minute, after a series of counterattacks, Willian picked up the ball in the left corner and played a pass to an onrushing Tom Cairney. With one touch, Careney sent in a cross that Raul Jimenez flicked home to make it 1-1.

That wasn't the end of the action. In the 13th minute of the second half, a corner kick from the right was poorly cleared by Rice and the ball fell to Bobby Reid, who immediately slotted it home to make it 2-1.

It was at this point in the game that a Fulham fan taunted Arsenal fans with a condescending look that seemed to mock the Gunners' defeat. After losing just one of their first 15 Premier League games this season, Arteta's side have now gone winless in their last three games, with Arsenal dropping to fourth place.

To make matters worse, another London club, Postecoglou's Tottenham, were in fine form, picking up a comfortable three points against Bournemouth.

Arteta said: "We had a chance to be first after 20 games with the consistency we showed. We didn't manage (the game) well enough to deserve to be first. Three days ago we lost a game we could have won, but today is a completely different story."

He added: "At Anfield we lost two points but played a great game. At West Ham we lost three points but played a great game. Today is a different story. That's why I'm sad because we're not at the level we need to be to reach 90 points."

Asked if this defeat was more worrying than the midweek one, Arteta said: "Of [바카라](https://www.oncasinosite.net) course. The other one is that we didn't put the ball in the goal and the opponent scored like that. It's okay. Today I was more worried about our overall performance."
