# Agenda for ValOps Roadmap Call:
##### Questions:
1. How many cosmos based newtworks in mainnet in the ecosystem?
- Mainnet validator count is 19 for cosmos ecosystem. These include Evmos, Matic, Tgrade, Agoric, Gravity, Passage, Persistence, Comdex, Desmos, Omniflix, Crescent, Juno, Stargaze, Regen, Akash, Nomic, Emoney, Cosmoshub and Osmosis.
2. How many mainnets we are running the validaors?
- Total 20. 19 of cosmos ecosystem and 1 on Oasis.
3. How many testnets we are running now?
- 1. On Quicksilver network.
4. How many relyers we are running now?
5. What is the avarage cost to run a validator for a network?
- For this breakdown I'm dividing our validators in two categories: **Generic** and **High-end**. This distinction is done on the basis of the hardware specs of the server provisioned for the validator node.
- **Generic**: 17 validators are classified in this network which are using the following specs of the server `8vCPU and 16GB Ram`. On top of these they require a storage extension of `300GB`. Cost of provisioning 1 server of these specs is `$96`. To extend the storage it takes an additional `$1/10GB` which amounts to `$30`. In total `$126` for each server in Generic category. This amounts to roughly `$2300/month`. Keep in mind storage requirenment varies in every network so there will be changes in the actual value of storage. And block storage has to be increased by roughly 10-15 GB every month on all networks.
- **High-end**: 3 validators are included in this category. Matic, Osmosis and Evmos. We run 2 nodes on matic and 1 each on Osmsosis and Evmos. Cost for operating 1 Matic node: `16vCPU/64GB RAM` and `3TB` storage is `$504` + `$300` = `$804`. Cost for running 2 nodes is `$1608`. Cost for running 1 node on Evmos: `8vCPU/32GB RAM` and `500GB` storage is `$252` + `$50` = `$302`. Cost for running 1 node on Osmosis: `40vCPU/128GB RAM` and `1TB` storage `$1008` + `$100` = `$1108`. Total cost of running nodes on **High-end** servers is roughly `$3100/month`
6. What is the avarage cost to run a relyer for a network?
7. In how many networks, we are in top 5 validators?
- 3. On Tgrade, Passage and Regen.
8. In how many networks, we are in top 20 validators?
- 4. On Gravity, Matic, Akash and Desmos.
9. What is the total revenue form all our mainnet validators?
10. What is highest revenue network for our validator?
11. What is lowest revenue network for our validator?
12. What is the avarage revenve per network?
13. What networks are yeilding more revenue?
14. Who are our competition for validators?
- Mid range validators like Notional, Cephalapod, Active nodes, Polkachu etc.
15. Who are our competition for relayers?
16. In which network, we have more delegations from users?
- evmos - 232
akash - 492
comdex - 139
Desmos - 92
Crescent - 27
Gravity - 24
Juno - 392
Witval - 504
Pers - 88
Osmosis - 791
Stargaze - 292
Cosmoshub - 1795
This the number of unique delegators we have on each network.
17. In which network, we have less delegations from users?
18. What is the avarage delegation for our validator across network?
##### Roadmap:
1. What can be improved from technical standpoint?
2. What can be improved from marketing or branding standpoint?
- Having all our services and products under the same umbrella will have better effect on marketing as we seem to lack cohesion in our products. It is not possible for newer participants to make the connection of Witval, Aneka and Vitwit dev team are part of the same organization. If this is done we will see more improvements in terms of delegation from both users and foundation.
3. What can be improved from finance standpoint?
- Right now we are not operating any additional nodes in addition to our valdiator. If we can host a few more nodes in select networks we can add a new offering of hosting snapshots of data for those network. This is a good way of providing community based services and it also helps a lot for bringing in more foundation delegations as this fits into their judging criteria..
4. What is our unique edge in the validator business?
- Dev team and Aneka. Inerconnecting all 3 services will set us apart from rest of the competition.
5. What is our downside in the validator business?
- Lack of community interaction on discord channels. Engaging more on the discord channels and twitter let's everyone know about the activeness of our team in maintaining good relationship with the ecosystem and helping newer validator operators with debugging their problems projects a good image of our team. This is currently lacking due to being a part of so many networks and lack of manpower.
