Disable Depth Of Field using ReShade for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

Introduction

INI files to be used with the Shader Toggler Addon so that you can turn off DOF without sacrificing anything else.

It's an alternative to the Disable DOF mod and/or the GamerSettings.ini tweak.

• This also affects the DOF in Photomode. There is no way around this. Since I use DOF shaders in ReShade itself, It doesn't bother me. If you want to use the DOF from Photomode, simply press the keys and the DOF is turned on again.
• I have not tried this in any other mode other than Borderless Fullscreen

• Currently, Lens Flare removal via ReShade is being difficult because the interaction hud is tied to it. I will keep trying but I make no promises.

Why?

• Using the GamerSettings.ini workaround also disabled AA and made the game brighter and washed up in my case.

Please let me know if there are any instances where the DOF are still active.

Instructions

1. Install ReShade 5+ With Addon Support

2. Download the ShaderToggler addon

3. Place the ShaderToggler.addon in the same folder as where the game exe is located

4. Download the INI of your choice

5. Rename it to ShaderToggler.ini

6. Place it in the same folder as where the game exe is located (next to the addon)

     • CTRL + K - Depth Of Field
