In our Tech Mentorship Program, CodePath students receive 1:1 mentoring from professionals working in the tech industry. Students and professionals are paired based on common technical interests, programming languages, and more. Mentors are virtual, enabling CodePath students to be paired with technical professionals living anywhere in the U.S.

CodePath.org is building the largest pipeline of high-performing underrepresented engineers in the tech industry. As a result, many of our students are enrolled in Computer Science (or related) degree programs and come from underrepresented backgrounds.
Students are seeking assistance with a variety of goals including technical interview practice, determining their career path, turning an idea into a business plan, and more.
Participating in the Tech Mentoring Program is a great way to give back and help prepare the next generation of technical talent. Mentorship provides students with the advice, feedback, and encouragement they need to start successful careers.
In a short amount of time (about 5 volunteer hours across 3 months), you can make a positive impact in a student's life. And being a CodePath.org mentor is easy! We provide mentors and students with numerous resources to make the mentoring relationship run as smoothly as possible.
Professionals working in the tech industry volunteer their time as mentors through this program. You can expect to find mentors working in engineering, product, and design at all levels from individual contributor to executive.
Mentors are available to help you with a variety of goals including technical interview practice, determining your career strategy, turning an idea into a business plan, and more.
Mentors can be an invaluable resource to a student as they start their technical career. These are people who have already taken the steps you need to take to launch a successful career. Mentors are great people to brainstorm with, discuss concerns or obstacles you're facing, and receive advice. Also, for many students this will be your first contact within the tech industry!
