  • On his last trip to New Zealand working with medical ships: He loved to bike, camp, and spend time outdoors: On the 15th of June, before 6am, after a short and aggressive battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Mike left this life to travel in the next. He is survied by his widow Earlene McClimans, his 92 year old mother Meldra Jean McClimans (Arlington, TX), a daughter Heather May (of Lubbock, TX) and her 4 children (Violet/Faith, Kayla, Hayden, and Iva Maybell), and his son Chris McClimans (of Tauranga, New Zealand) who has two sons (Asher and Benjamin). We are coordinating with his home church in Arlington for a memorial service for those that knew him locally. Heather, Mamaw and Chris are doing our own thing in Lubbock as a memorial, and Chris will likely be carrying his ashes with around on a final road trip with Mike's New Zealand grandsons.

On the 14th of June @ 12:46 p.m with Justin (her husband) and Hayden (12 yo son) inside, a kitchen fire spread through their home. Justin and Hayden were able to escape, although covered in soot. Their dogs where not as fortunate. Hayden had to spend the night in the hospital to monitor inhalation damage, but seems ok!
