Hey there, I am Manav Darji and these are my updates for week 0 (10/07 - 16/07).

- Started going through the given list of projects to contribute to and filtered them based on my interest.
- I am mostly interested in Verkle trees, and consensus research / layer projects.
- Reached out to quite a few people from different teams to gather more context.
- Spent good amount of time understanding the Verkle tree project and get an idea of the current progress of the same.
- Got in touch with Ignacio who works on the geth team on the Verkle tree project.
- Realised that Geth has been ahead with doing POCs for the same and have been able to develop a fully working prototype and are working on the MPT to VT migration part.
- Also, spent some time getting to know open problem statements in Consensus Research.
