Hard Rock starts construction plans for temporary casino in Bristol, Virginia

Hard Rock International today announced plans to build a temporary casino in Bristol, Virginia. The development of this temporary casino strengthens Hard Rock's presence and commitment to Bristol, marking the brand's first major milestone in Bristol.

The temporary full-service casino boasts about 30,000 square feet of casino space, with about 900 gaming slots and 20 tables for a variety of gaming options. The space will include a major casino floor as well as a non-smoking and high-restrictive gaming area. Guests can also enjoy sports bars and lounges that can be enjoyed with a new restaurant, grab-and-go food outlet, and an adjacent smoking sports lounge. With a variety of gaming services, amenities, and services, including sportsbooks, Virginia lottery offices, and retail stores, Hard Rock's temporary casinos will create 600 new jobs in Bristol, Virginia. The temporary casinos will be open before the end of the second quarter of 2022, as construction begins soon at the former Women's Belk store on the Bristol Mall.
