# Bounties: organizational brainstorm
Attendees: Jihad Esmail, John Szczepaniak, Scott Moore, Kris Decoodt
- **Goal**
- Make it easy to get onboarded
- Joe has created a typeform as a first step
- Set up some ways so we can easily onboard people, not just for public goods funding but also other workstreams
- **Questions**
- What is the best way to create a SSOT?
- Maybe we need a number of people who 'streamline' and update one or multiple notion docs
- Might become a 'passive' use doc for people that links all the active docs (hackmd, google docs...)
- Hire some SSOT'ers to focus on streamlining
- What is the audience? What is the scope?
- Bounties on Gitcoin could become the funnel to make a selection & 'vet' people
- Create an registry/repo of people
- A contributors registry already exists (from Joe's typeform) - DAO contributors
- Two ways done well (Jihad)
- Only approved people
- Bounties (low vs high risk)
- low risk = multiple people can do them, not a big problem if done incorrectly, also allows people to scale up their participation. Feedback is provided and issues can be fixed with minimal urgency.
- high risk = routine tasks that are critical and if done incorrectly, will slow down the overall pace of work. Less reliance on feedback and more on consistency of contributor.
- Right now we don't have a formal contributor onboarding process. It doesn't make sense to clearly differentiate low vs high risk bounties as we haven't identified who will be providing feedback etc. We should just make a focused bounties list and start to expand from there. (Jihad)
- Looking at the 3 tiered contribution rewards system that Forefront has implemented. (Jihad)
- Proposal: start 'centralized'/subjectively to propose bounties to people we 'know/trust', while formalizing a process
- Form: start with a notion board to collect all the bounties
- Measure: decide how much the bounty is depending on the complexity
- **Brainstorm**: what can we create bounties for?
- *Internal facing*
- Commenting on specific proposals
- Grant review/ratifications during grant round
- Develop the onboarding process - designing a template
- DAO Onboarding
- DAO Onboarding channel & typeform exists now
- Draft out the onboarding process from A-Z (!)
- Host/assist to bi-weekly call with part of the community
- Onboarding 1 on 1's can be next
- High-level strategy docs
- Actively attending & participating to certain calls
- Defining rewards & how this is defined (+ transparent guidelines)
- Baseline compensation that is reviewed every month
- Coordinape to still reward people when no specific bounty!
- Centralize some of the bounties under workstreams
- *External*
- Cross-pollination proposals with other DAOs (eg 1Hive, tokenswaps, ...)
- Fundraising for the grants rounds: talk to people & orgs who would want to fund the matching pools! (low-hanging fruit!)
- **Action points**
- Set up a call in a few weeks for onboarding (Scott/Kris)
- Check-in with Joe on SSOT docs (Scott)
- Create initial bounty, 'cold call' matching fund partnerships (Scott)
- Share docs on ForeFront (?) reward model & start working on own proposal to later sync on with Moonshot (Jihad)
- All: review notes :)
