## Introduction + Data
### Is the research question and goal of the report clearly stated?
Yes, the research question is how the relationship between geographic location, vote share, and incumbency affects the win probability for Democratic and Republican candidates.
However the goal of the report isn't clear since they question how young people affect the win probability, but they talk about how they're going to assess things besides the age of voters. The relationship between the motivation and proposed research question isn't explicitly clear.
### Does the introduction provide appropriate background context and motivation for a general reader?
No, the introduction doesn't provide much background information on elections or politics in the United States. The introduction jumps straight to the research question and hypothesis and doesn't have much for information on the subject of elections. Adding basic information such as about House elections, the two main parties, how districts are divided in the States, etc., would be helpful.
### Is the source of the data stated with an appropriate citation?
Yes -- ABC News and the fivethirtyeight dataset are cited as the sources.
### Is it clear when and how the data was originally collected?
Yes it is clear how the data was collected, they talk about how it was collected. They mentioned how it was taking at the polls.
### Are the observations and relevant variables described?
Yes, the relevant variables mentioned (party of candidate, probability of winning, district, state, etc.) are directly related to answering their research question.
### Include any additional comments, questions, or suggestions on the introduction and data description.
Saying how the different things you're aiming to assess in this project is related to that original question will help make it clear what the goal is and why assessing those things is relevant. Adding more background information would also be useful.
## There is no Exploratory Data Analysis - Qareena is a grammer nasi.
### Is the data cleaning and data wrangling clearly described? This includes dealing with missing data, creating new variables, etc.
N/A
### If there are exploratory visualizations, do they follow the guidelines we’ve discussed in STA 199? This includes using plots that are appropriate for the data, having proper axis labels, titles, etc. If none, put N/A
N/A
### Are any tables and figures clear, effective, and informative? Should any be eliminated, or are any new tables or figures needed?
N/A
### Include any additional comments, questions, or suggestions for the exploratory data analysis.
N/A
## Methodology + Results
## They don't have any methodology and results
Their methodology includes a research statement.
### Are the chosen methods (e.g. hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, models, etc.) for answering the research question appropriate for the research context and type of data?
N/A
### Is the research question answered accurately and effectively?
N/A
### Is the answer to the research question summarized and supported by statistical arguments?
N/A
### Do visualizations follow the guidelines we’ve discussed in STA 199? This includes using plots that are appropriate for the data, having proper axis labels, titles, etc.

## Presentation + general comments
### Is the paper professionally presented and generally free of distracting errors or other issues, including (but not limited to) insufficient organization or formatting; poor grammar, spelling, or punctuation; or too-small font? Is the overall paper easily readable for someone with your expert level of knowledge? Note any concerns here.
No, there are multiple typos. We suggest adding line breaks as well to make it easier to read (in RStudio line breaks only appear if you press enter twice)!
### Knit the .Rmd file. Are you able to reproduce all aspects of the report, including output, visualizations, etc? This includes (1) being able to knit the document and (2) obtaining the same PDF as the original PDF.
We were able to knit the Rmd file and reproduce the pdf! It also was the same.
### What questions and/or general feedback do you have for the authors?
