[link to OKRs](https://nitro.powerhrg.com/runway/backlog_items/HFH-1136)
*Migrations*
**Resque classes to ActiveJob**
* we may still make this quarterly goal
**Activestorage migration**
* not expecting to complete, but we were able to get separation docs done
*Upgrades*
**React Upgrades**
* we made 17
* 18x stretch goal won't make it
**Turbolinks**
* we have the final PR which we think we can make by end of month
**Zeitwerk**
* 100% dunzo
**Path to Ruby 3.0 (Stretch goal)**
* we got one thing in. Kinda.
*Shared Core*
**Org Structure**
* we have a lot of the subtasks done
* hoping to complete permissions
* final item on this list is filtering, which we have a start for (including playbook kit)
**Permission Groups**
* need to add default roles to user titles
* after that, we're blocked on Tim
*Other (Stretch Goals)*
**Hosted gem/npm solution (RFC)**
* more of a stretch goal, we didn't make this one
**Runway extraction to separate repo/app**
* still a stretch goal, we're pretty darn close to breaking the user dependency on core_models and nitro_theme
**power-tools**
* we didn't get these stretch goals done, but APM extraction is also helping this effort
### What went well?
**Wade**
- We got stuff done.
- I've historically gotten planning for a new quarter done a week or two _into_ the new quarter. This time we're getting it done ahead of time, which is better as they still need to be approved by Jenny.
**Moretti**
- Lot of things done 🙌
- I have a real feeling that nitro-web has been better to work on since the beginning of the quarter.
**Jill**
- We definitely made nitro-web a better place and brought a lot of things into the done column <3 We lifted a lot of heavy tasks.
**Drew**
- Making improvements and strides towards improving Nitro
- Removing of the unused or redudant code.
**Carlos**
- Nitro is definitely better, and that's not just a feeling
- We're heading toward the Org Level organization;
- We're moving again toward the multiple auth groups idea;
- Zeitwerk helped us cleaning up a lot of the LOAD_PATH in nitro, made it faster and more reliable;
- Graphql is better to work with
**Gurban**
- Overall very good quarter. Would be a lot better if Turbo makes it.
### What can improve?
**Wade**
- Being more realistic with what we can get done and incorporating time off, events, holidays, and especially interruptions.
- We can't let long-term endeavors with stuff like ActiveStorage migrations and NCT->Projects fall so low in our priority list that we never work on them. We need to keep moving those forward until they are done.
**Moretti**
- Sometimes I feel that our team is a little dispersed in efforts, we are doing too many things at the same time
**Jill**
- We've got a lot going on. It can be hard to keep track of everything, and the dispersal / own lanes means that while we're not stepping on each others toes, there's a lot of load over context switching and it can be hard to gauge OKR commitments.
- (I'm putting this down as a positive and negative) We lifted a lot of heavy tasks.
- be aware of burnout, reach out if you're feeling it
- we didn't really have any Q1 OKRs until end of January
- got hugely distracted by fixing dev dumps -- but they're better now so I don't have a ton of regrets
**Carlos**
- Liked planning APM as we did, and we'd benefit from doing it more
- I agree with Moretti that the team is a little dispersed, is that a good or bad thing? Can this be better with planning?
**Drew**
- Contributing more. Making time when I can, and getting what needs to be done with Oracle so I can contribute more to the teams overall goals.(Personal)
- Also plus one to Moretti & Jill. It was something I noticed during our week together when talking with everyone on what there day to day's are like and looking over stories. Thought it was just me though
**Gurban**
- I agree we have lots of things going on at the same time.
### Anything important to note for next OKR?
**Moretti**
- I'll be on parental leave for some part of the quarter
**Jill**
- I really liked having our APM refinement and scoring session. It feels like these may help with OKRs and understanding the effort we expect to put into a sprint/quarter.
**Drew**
- Going to make efforts be more present with the team, or at least as much as Oracle will allow me. Even if its just making time to look over PR's and ask questions.
## Takeaways
* please let's prioritize the turbo and the org_level stories as we end this quarter
* as we plan Q2, take time off (Create, conferences, interviews, pairing with other teams, onboarding, educational) into account, as well as time for distractions and/or sudden things we have to fix.
* as we plan, we can keep in mind the idea of working together / sharing a goal or two
* be aware of burnout, reach out if you're feeling it
* be aware of dispersal / try to balance that in the next quarter planning
* Consider using a log / time tracker for things that are distractions from focused, runway-tracked efforts
* Please more Q2 planning
* Moretti's baby is full-term on April 17, due first week of May
