4/29/2022Haere mai, welcome to the second NZ Data Science Morning Tea! My pitch to you: I'm (Jonah Duckles) now working from home as part of the SARS-CoV-2 situation. I know many others are as well. I hope we can make self-isolation a bit less isolating during this time. I've found from my time in other online communities, that if we spend some time getting to know each other on video calls, we can find some really fun and interesting synergies and interactions. This is an experiment to try and get the NZDS Slack Community to get to know each others names, faces and work. If this goes well I'll try to keep it going once per week as a short 30-min check-in each week. If you're not already, you can signup for the NZ Data Science Slack Community at this link Who: Anyone interested in growing and connecting with the NZ Data Science Community. Doctors, lawyers, bioinformaticians, engineers, public servants, artists, musicians, anyone who deals in data and wants to learn & share with a growing community. You're welcome to come along. What: Bring your cuppa and meet some other NZ Data Scientists
