  • POSE update (serge)
    • serge will send "vision" from proposal to interested devs, and following, we may post to the website
  • GSoC update
    • implemented church p-median
      • needs to be merged
      • fractional not implemented
    • projects solify in march/april. Need to lay groundwork in jan/feb. Need to put on PySAL calendar so we can begin triaging issues across the ecosystem, putting together a menu of projects
    • next year we apply as pysal, not numfocus
    • martin may upidate from numfocus next week

    • try to put (monthly?) sprint on the calendar
    • everyone likes the idea of 'focus'. We use the pysal meetings to try and decide on dev focus.

    • esda needs 2.5.0
      • we need to check the release infrastructure there, the last release is an old one
    • pointpats needs either a compat patch release or a minor release if https://github.com/pysal/pointpats/pull/105 makes it in
      • work towards local knox in pointpats
      • discovered and reported an upstream scipy bug (which was reverted). Need to make a note on our end
    • libpysal needs 4.8.0 and ideally https://github.com/pysal/libpysal/tree/geographs merged in some usable form (we have code sprints scheduled for that)
    • mapclassify needs 2.6.0
